I don't know how serious the Prince's stated goals are, but it is timely to hear the pitch he is making to the Persian People.

I would love to see a Free Iran.

Going back to the Shah isn’t really the way to go. His family was corrupt and pretty harsh on their opposition. He has been living off the millions his family got out of the country during the revolution.

On the flip side, have you seen the Princess. Va-Va-Va-Voom!

But seriously, they don’t want the Shah back.

My friend and her family all fled Iran when the Shah fell, they would love Pahlavi to take power and have a free Iran..the Shah wasn’t perfect but heck anything is better than Khamanei he’s pure evil. Iran already said today that anyone who protests gets the death penalty, gee media, that is what REAL fascism looks like notice they dont talk about what is going on in Iran right now because they are in bed with the Mullahs

I’ve heard chants of Javid Shah (’Long live the Shah’) in multiple videos of crowds. I think many see him as the best option for a transitional government. He spoke of returning ‘in days.’ I would expect he is somewhere in Europe on a military base (or on a ship in the Persian Gulf) waiting.

A free Iran has implications elsewhere also - Yemen, Syria, Lebanon...

The Crown Prince is the only one who can bring Iran to its senses.

I’ve been watching Tousi TV and they’ve shown a lot of clips of the crowds in Iran chanting for the Shah.

He has only said he would be a transitional figure and has put forward a program for a democratic Iran with a complete separation of religion and the state.

I guess we will see. He is apparently planning on a return, but if you believe what is said on his website, then he believes in a Democracy. I remember the Shah years, and that is back when I believed what was written. Now we know that the CIA helped the Ayatollah return there for their own misguided purposes, so who do you believe anymore? Certainly not the Media.

From his website...

What does it say? Here is how Gemini translated it:
Question: What activities are you engaged in to achieve the victory of the national revolution?

Answer: My activities are based on a precise and documented strategy and plan consisting of five main pillars. These five pillars are:

Maximum support for the struggles of the Iranian nation.

Maximum pressure on the Islamic Republic.

Maximum defection (breakaway) from the regime.

Organizing and mobilizing Iranians abroad with the aim of influencing public opinion, politicians, and policymakers in their respective countries.

Providing a political and economic vision for the transition period and the reconstruction of Iran.

As he has for decades.

Most Iranians want Pahlavi back. He is not interested in becoming the King. He just wants to lead the transition to make sure there are free and fair elections.

I think a constitutional monarchy is the way to go. It worked in Spain

No more royalty. That clown hasn’t done a single job in his life except take donations from rich friends.

Anyone claiming to be a monarch should be pelted with tomatoes, mocked endlessly, and if they persist, get beheaded.

Read that comment out loud. And tell me it doesn’t sound naive.

I understand that is what he is saying. And it sounds great. But in the end, this guy has been living off the spoils his family stole out of Iran. While he might be a nice enough exiled playboy, I think he is not what Iran needs right now. People like that don’t give up power easily.

I was in college with 300 Iranian midshipmen.

I learned a lot about the shah during those two years. And this was from people loyal to the Royal Navy.

Don’t assume I am supporting the current regime. I am not.

But there has to be a better way.

Iran will give up Sharia banking, which doesn't charge interest, because that's a big no-no with the global banksters.

Then all Iranians can become debt slaves, just like the rest of the world.

Problem -> Reaction -> Solution

The problem is artificially created economic hardship. The reaction is civil unrest. The solution is that the country stops Sharia banking.
