Jehovah’s Witnesses believe that Jesus is God’s “only-begotten Son”, and that his life began in heaven. He is described as God’s first creation and the “exact representation of God”, but is believed to be a separate entity and not part of a Trinity.
My question is why put their theories into competition with others? I neither feel a need to challenge their beliefs nor refute their worship. Why do they refute mine. I’m not in competition with them, so I don’t challenge them. Worship- how you wish. That’s what our country is based upon.

Hard to believe that the JWs are still pushing this nonsense ... on the other hand lefties are still pushing the nonsense that communism works.
I have JWs for nextdoor neighbors.
Best neighbors I’ve ever had.....we just don’t talk religion.
who cares, he died and rose again,
let me put this into simple words... to quote Archie Bunker " would you have preferred he was thrown out a window?"
Missing the really important thing...he died to save us, to wash all of us in His blood, remove our sins and give us everlasting life, the method of that salvation is just part of that story, it’s the ending that matters.
I pointed out to a JW that if only 144k go to the kingdom, you are NOT improving your chances by getting new converts.
Logically you should be “removing” converts.
LOL I said the same thing years ago. He and I laughed over it.
After all of the false prophesies that their past leaders have made, you'd think people would smell fraud.
They believe the only ones who go to Heaven are the 144,000 of which the Disciples are some and many through the ages which have passed are part of that number.
The rest go to Paradise.
JW don’t celebrate anyone’s birthday. I was told by a JW that was because such a celebration is not in the Bible.
“Crucified” comes from Latin crucifixus, meaning “fixed to a cross,”
I hope they walk everywhere they go because that is what Jesus did & autos & other motorized conveyances are not even mentioned in the Bible to my knowledge.
Yes, JW should consider Amish as impossibly liberal.
I just thought it odd not to celebrate God’s creations.
LOL. I agree with you, but that would eliminate 90 percent of the posts in the FR Religion Forum. It is a sad religion that can't exist without attacking the beliefs of others.
My understanding is that the 144K was the first 144,00 to convert to Jehovah's Witness. Kind of incentive in the early days to get people to sign up before it was too late to get the premium package. The 144K were also the only ones to be privileged to receive their "communion" cup. I believe the last one of that number died several years ago.
The Romans were very creative when it came to crucifixion. They used whatever resources they had at the time. After 2000 years of the gospels being passed down I’m sure there were translations that aren’t 100%, like anything else. Whether it was a true cross, or a “T” or just a stake, the Romans wanted to make sure it was as brutal and horrible as possible. But being as he was crucified in a relatively wealthy city they would have had the resources to make a true cross for maximum cruelty for effect and propaganda.
Worship- how you wish. That’s what our country is based upon.

Muslims love that concept - it allows them so much freedom to take over cities, states, build their own private cities, and eventually take the whole country.
