California runs itself like a breakaway colony oceans away, but at the same time gladly accepts federal dollars to keep things propped up.

The fraud should be investigated under RICO.

There is NO WAY that a multi-state fraud mechanism this large is occurring absent some communication and/or coordination.

That stated, am I the only one wondering why DOGE wasn’t addressing fraud AT ALL from that angle?

So when can regular hardworking Americans expect their back tax refunds from all of the decades of fraud? I know, I know……

Most excellent!!

Gonna take awhile to go down the whole list of blue states that were in on the racket though.

Lean on Walz in some way or another, and make him spill the beans.

They've got leverage on him from a murder/attempted murder of MN legislators that happened under his watch...

Minnesota is kid’s stuff next to California. The administration is about to publicize it. Considering Walz had to drop out of his race, Newsom, if he is still interested in a presidential run, will have to flee to Venezuela. I hear they are looking for a socialist candidate

Governor’s kind of busy building that train track, right?

Last audit of LA County welfare system showed that 45% of the counties entitlement transfer payments were fraudulent one way or another and that was a long time ago .

If those numbers are consistent in the rest of Cali the numbers are huge because California has an annual entitlement budget of just under 900 billion dollars a year

Good. Hammer this now before the mid-terms, where Trump could possibly lose the house and senate....

After that, congress will protect their own like Gov. Newsom and stymie all of Trump’s attempts at...well, anything - until Trump is out of office.

And to think of how close Walz was to the presidency...

Hopefully, when the mass California fraud is uncovered, it will end Newsom’s political career (like it ended Walz’s) - but I’m not holding my breath. Democrats are shameless.

You have to ask?

$24B gone for street bums. No observable results. Every audit shows no improvement — EVERY. The only decrease is due to death.
BulletTrain. Tens of billions, not one rail laid. All 44 skimmed and land along route was “sold” to developers — prime cropland.
Pick any “sustainable” power boondoggle. ANY.
Newscums minimum wage law (donors to his campaign were specifically exempted) is forcing Starbucks and In&Out out of state.
Close to 500 gas stations shut down on Jan 1 ‘cause Newscum decided that if they do not use a double-walled storage tank they are unsafe. Mind, if an earthquake is strong enough to burst a tank 20’ below ground your concern is not gas leakage into the water table.

Unless and until something truly earth-shaking happens, such as a video surfacing of Newsom unequivocally orchestrating a multi-billion dollar taxpayer fraud scheme, none of these investigations will move the needle on public opinion against the Democrats.

I'm surprised Walz gave up on his re-election bid, so maybe we're about to see a tectonic shift in American politics. Doubtful, but maybe.

The DOJ is the only department that needs to grow under Trump.

My understanding is that DOGE is only authorized to investigate waste at the federal level, i.e., federal agencies, contracts, regulations and expenditures. Although the funds at issue mostly come from the federal tax base, the fraudulent contracts and expenditures are at the state level, and subject to audit at the state level.
