Thank you, Wyoming! Serving our state has been the honor of my life. - Cynthia Lummis
Interesting. Thanks for posting.
Seriously, what is her "legacy"? Getting rich in trades as the country declined? Better elect a fighter to replace her GOP or the Democrats will.
And soon there were no Republican women in the House or the Senate...
No.
Mass resignations hurt Trump in 2018 too. Incumbents have such a huge advantage. Alarming that it is happening again. Republicans will always break your heart by finding new ways to lose.
Her departure should be safe since she is from Wyoming..
Woo hoo! Grab that pension and run, baby!
It's Wyoming, no Dem will win.
Unless they picked Cheney bot to run, either to spoil or make sure an anti-Trump Republican is elected.
And all those Pubbie men have been such heroes.
Oh. Dems don’t run as Republicans? That would be something new.
....I read earlier that Elise Stephanik, republican from Noo Yawk has dropped out of the race for that miserable state’s governor and will not seek reflection to congress....another Republican seat in jeopardy.......
The responses are truly perplexing. I am for term limits. I am adamantly against the idea of “career politicians”. You serve, and then you move on. I am interested in a politician who will vote in the best interest of the country, and not just focus on getting re-elected.
So good for her.
You might be in favor of changing the rules, but meanwhile there’s a game being played on the court.
Looks to me like she is in a safe district for Rs. She withdrew from UN ambassador because Hochul was going to play games with the special election. The seat should be safe unless Rs put up a total loser.
This is why we need to find and run MAGA candidates in every party, in every primary.
When will we stop fighting half a battle...
The republicans that are leaving early instead of supporting Trump’s efforts to right the ship weren’t there for the good of the country, they were there for personal gain.
The Constitution prevents reducing their pay while in office, but it doesn’t say anything about after they leave. Once enough right-minded people are elected to replace these losers, the current, lavish Congressional retirement pay and benefits should eliminated.
We perhaps need to look at THEIR banking records
