Discriminatory “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” (DEI) policies have been enshrined in virtually every major American institution for more than a decade now. While conservatives have made some laudatory progress in turning the cultural tide against DEI, the fallout on the American economy and, even more devastatingly, the American family, is only just beginning.
This week, Compact Magazine published what may be the most important long-form essay of the year. “The Lost Generation,” authored by aspiring screenwriter and odd-jobs aficionado Jacob Savage, describes in specific, heartbreaking detail the economic carnage that DEI has wrought on young men, and young white men in particular.
Savage provides staggering statistics on the race and gender-based overhaul of hiring practices in journalism and academia to highlight how DEI has fundamentally transformed the American workplace:

We are having all those problems because we are no longer following the Consitution like the Founding Fathers would have wanted it. We've added too many amendments and for most part, they are not helpful.

The Third Rail that few want to talk about is that in almost every metric things have gotten measurably worse since white men were driven from these fields.
No big deal. If there’s all this prime talent out there start writing great shows and movies. Look for producers or investors. It’s not rocket science

The family creates a system of loyalty not subordinate to the state. Of course they hate it.
Giving women the right to vote will one day in the future be looked on as the beginning of the end of this once great republic.

Discourse on the essay has been half my X feed for the past two days.
Kinda shows how out of touch this place has become. And several of the posts of the FR thread are of the "These crybabies just need to try harder!", "Nobody cares about screen writers!", and "They just need to go to plumbing school!" variety.
Shameful, really. An entire generation of white Millennial males have been shut out of prestige occupations and few here care. But they'll all complain about how woke TV shows have gotten and how their doctor can barely speak English.
Which is the goal of the Left to dismantle the nuclear family.
It's all intentional.
Letting women vote was the worst of the lot.

Doesn’t work that way in all fields. If they aree still using DEI, you are cooked.
