One of the interesting facets of the blockade of Venezuela recently announced is the generally contrasting viewpoints of Spanish language sources which overwhelmingly support or at least not opposed to the blockade vs the English speaking media. Here is a sampling of the Spanish language views on this mixed in with commentary by Nicolas "NO GUAR!" Maduro. I'm not sure how valid the final AI-ish clip is but could that be the ultimate outcome in the near future?
Oh, and my pronunciation of Spanish despite having a slight Gringo-American accent is MUCH BETTER than how Maduro pronounces English. However, his accent is much FUNNIER than mine. "NO GUAR!"
PING!
All we are saying, is give GUAR a chance!
If you learn to say “NO GUAR! PEAZE” like Maduro, you can be the comedic hit of any party you attend.
I can understand the Spanish announcers 100%.
But Maduro, no!
Even his Spanish is kind of bad.
I guess he was a bus driver, and I think, he still sounds like bus driver.
I can also understand news announcers because they are trained to speak clearly. I can also understand most Spanish speakers with Yuuuuuuge exception of Cubans. I am trying to improve to the point where I can understand Cubans but I have a ways to go.
Funny.
I learned Spanish in Spain.
So Cubans and Porto Ricans are no problem to me.
They speak more-less Spanish Spanish.
So are Argentinians, and Chileans.
My biggest problems are Central Americans.
I guess, you are the opposite!
Did you learn Mexican?
