Left-wing podcaster Jennifer Welch voiced concern on “I’ve Had It” Tuesday about toxicity in American politics despite her record of using hateful rhetoric against conservatives.
Welch previously praised a “No Kings” protester who rejoiced over Charlie Kirk’s assassination and described White House deputy chief of staff for policy Stephen Miller as a “Nazi Jew.” After guest Katie Couric complained on the podcast about right-wing media spending time condemning left-wing individuals, Welch said it was “even more nefarious” that such content was what America’s enemies supposedly desire.
“[W]e know that a lot of our country’s adversaries want that type of social friction within the American public, and that the current sitting president campaigned on eliminating the enemy from within and not a message of unification,” Welch said. “That trickles down. And then you have these propaganda arms that, instead of focusing on ways that we can advance and progress as a country, they’re attacking other Americans.”
When Couric said such context was “toxic,” Welch agreed.
“Yeah, it’s really really toxic,” the host said.
During an Oct. 27 episode of her “IHIP News” podcast, Welch reacted to a clip of the “No Kings” protester saying she was “glad” Kirk was gunned down during a Sept. 10 Turning Point USA (TPUSA) “Prove Me Wrong” event at Utah Valley University. Welch demanded that Democratic elected officials like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer align with the protester’s sentiments.
“Kudos to … that woman out in somewhere middle America saying fuck Charlie Kirk,” Welch said. “He was a racist. He was a piece of shit.”
Welch used the “Nazi Jew” slur against Miller during an Oct. 23 episode of “I’ve Had It.”
“Stephen Miller is a white supremacist. I mean, he is. And he’s basically running the White House. They keep [President Donald] Trump busy with his decorating projects,” she said. “He’s got building the arch now. He’s got his Oval Office design. And then you have these real sociopaths that are real antisemites, true white supremacists like Stephen Miller. And even though he’s Jewish, he’s like a Nazi Jew.”
Miller and his family were forced to move from their Arlington, Virginia, residence following a campaign of harassment that included writing messages like “Stephen Miller is destroying democracy,” “no white nationalism” and “trans rights are human rights” on public sidewalks near his home, along with posting flyers that identified his address.
Moreover, Couric tried and failed to prod Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman to denounce Kirk on her “Next Question with Katie Couric” podcast on Nov. 13. For instance, she pressed Fetterman on whether he had problems with Kirk’s rhetoric and said she believed certain individuals would label it “extreme.”
Couric also acknowledged on a Nov. 6 episode of her podcast that she no longer attempts to be “impartial” when covering Trump, asserting the president’s conduct is “beyond the pale.”
Most toxic people can only see it in others.
She is AIDS personified
Jennifer Welch needs to first give back Mr. Spock’s eyebrows. Then we’ll consider talking about toxicity.
The hypocrisy meter on Welch goes up to one quintillion.
Look in the mirror witch
Is this the blonde with the strangely stretched-looking face?
I think I’ve seen her on YouTube...
Her face is toxic.
bkmk
I have yet to hear a single leftist provide a concrete example of Charlie Kirk’s so called “ hate speech”.
She’s like Bill Nye in drag.
Yep. She reminds me of that woman who tried to make herself into a cat, RIP.
Their complete lack of awareness is telling.
I get the evil bitter ex-wife vibe.
She is a terrible human, if you can call her that.
Big time.
Correct.
I’m not so sure she’s even a biological woman.
Extremely.
