They can also film the Captain Phillips remake there.
Drat, ya beat me again by 65 seconds!
Deep Blue cities in America offer up a plethora of opportunities for crime movies, end of the world stories, war torn destroyed cities movies, foreign cities, etc.
That is just hilarious
Gotta love The Bee!
Oh man, they outdid themselves on this one. :-)
Well Done Bee!
That will be more dangerous than filming in Mogadishu.
Grand Slam!!!
When does Somali...er, I mean deer season open in Minnesoda?
I got a good laugh from this.
Dang. I had such high hopes for Goldie Wilson.
The rules are you can only film in Minnesota if filmed first.
LOL.
How about remaking Zulu there?
“I got stuck there on a layover once, and I thought I’d landed in Somalia, but it was just Minnesota,” producer Jerry Bruckheimer said.
➡️ “I’ve never been more scared in my entire life. And I’m from Detroit.”
The Bee does it again!!!!
I had a layover some years ago at the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport. As I walked through the (secured?) terminals, post-9/11, there were people sleeping on the floors. Not just sleeping, a couple hundred families lining the walls of the two terminals/concourses I walked through.
Big blankets spread out on the floor. Nursing babies, eating, sleeping, waiting for what?
And chickens. Live chickens in cages. Wire cages that could hold 2-6 chickens each. I guess they were waiting for eggs?
The smell of human feces, baby poop, and urine, and unwashed sweat was only overpowered by chickensh*t.
I swore I would never fly through Minneapolis again, and I haven't. I've been to a lot of sh*thole places in the Middle East and SW Asia, but I'd never seen anything like this in America.
Visiting pre-9/11 Minneapolis was different. Beautiful city, lovely green scenery and water, the Mall of America was a sight to see! Now? I might spend a night there for a million dollars and a personal security detail.
Ditto
I was shocked when I went to the Maul of America this summer .
First time in 20 years.
I would say 1/3 to 1/4th of the women had the Muslim head coverings .
