Well, I could see how a dead person could end up with 50K loaded onto their unused card. That’s a SNAFU that would not be uncommon with incompetent lazy government workers not getting paperwork processed.
But getting SNAP in 6 states is clearly fraud as is family members using the deceased persons SNAP instead of reporting the death.

They had all kinds of ‘benefits’ even Uber. The O’Keefe video showed a receipt from a purchase with one of the SNAP/EBT cards. The receipt showed a balance of $14,000 in one account, $12,000 in another.

The lawyer/politicians write these bills to be taken advantage of and when a mere pleb figures out how to take advantage of them there’s a big outrage over it.
Whenever the government initiates a program including giving $$$ away they always seem to leave openings for thieves to get rich using it.
How much gets loaded each month on these cards. 2-3K? How about if you have a balance of 15K you don’t get a new load that month. If you have $500 you should only get up to what that monthly amount is. That way, they eather spend it or lose the next deposit. Also if they get caught selling what they bought they get zip and no more SNAP. If a merchant gets caught enabling the fraud, they get closed and indicted.
