Trump Warns Nigeria: US 'Guns-a-Blazing' if Christian Killings Continue

President Donald Trump on Saturday said he's ordered the Pentagon to begin planning for potential military action in Nigeria as he stepped up his criticism that the government is failing to rein in the persecution of Christians in the West African country.

"If the Nigerian Government continues to allow the killing of Christians, the U.S.A. will immediately stop all aid and assistance to Nigeria, and may very well go into that now disgraced country, 'guns-a-blazing,' to completely wipe out the Islamic Terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities," Trump posted on social media.

"I am hereby instructing our Department of War to prepare for possible action. If we attack, it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians!"

The warning of possible military action came after Nigeria's President Bola Ahmed Tinubu earlier Saturday pushed back after Trump announced a day earlier that he was designating the West African country "a country of particular concern" for allegedly failing to rein in the persecution of Christians.

In a social media statement Saturday, Tinubu said that the characterization of Nigeria as a religiously intolerant country does not reflect the national reality.

"Religious freedom and tolerance have been a core tenet of our collective identity and shall always remain so," Tinubu said. "Nigeria opposes religious persecution and does not encourage it. Nigeria is a country with constitutional guarantees to protect citizens of all faiths."

Trump on Friday said "Christianity is facing an existential threat in Nigeria" and "radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter."

Trump's comment came weeks after Sen. Ted Cruz urged Congress to designate Africa's most populous country as a violator of religious freedom with claims of "Christian mass murder."

This could require rubbing out a lot of Nigerians, which would upset Prog Marxist Democrats and reduce their voting base.

If Trump decides to wipe out the “radical Islamists” (a redundant phrase), I hope he also nails that Nigerian prince who keeps sending emails about some money he wants to give people.

Democrats will scream that Trump is Hitler if he stops the killing of Christians. Oh wait, they do that anyway.

I hope Trump has had this bad ass jive approved by Gabby Giffords and her retarded Bolshie boyfriend. Kelly is being a little toddler biatch when it comes to taking on enemies of humanity like the Venezuelan Drug Cartels and subhuman Nigerians.

Muslims make up approximately 50โ€“55% of Nigeria’s population.

From Dr. Peter Hammondโ€™s book, โ€œSlavery, Terrorism and Islamโ€:

โ€œAt 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare.โ€

Pressure needs to be put on Nigeria indirectly not directly. Save directly for much much later if at all. We do not want US troops on the ground there. Trump needs to work with MSB SA Crown Prince and get him to block Nigerians from participating in the hadj until the government gets a handle on the radicals.

To my fellow Catholics, if you’re able please consider donating to ‘Aid to the Church in Need’ or Jason Jones at the the ‘Vulnerable People Project’. Jason has been looking after our people both in Gaza and Nigeria and elsewhere. I wish I could post his newsletter today but its too long.

I agree 100%....We can’t sit by and do nothing. It’s not our job but whose job is it? I know Christian Nigerians here in the US - good people.

Remember how useless the UN Peacekeeping force was in Rwanda? As I recall they had an officer in charge (Canadian?) who wasn’t allowed to do his job...

Just for some context, the country is religiously divided approximately in half with slightly over 50% Muslim and slightly less than 50% adhering to some form of Christianity. But the two groups are largely divided geographically with most of the Muslims living in the north and most of the Christians occupying the southern half.

For the most part, the Christians being killed and persecuted reside in Christian communities located among the Muslim dominated communities of the north. As is typical we see Muslims demonstrating their inability to live peacefully with non-Muslim minority groups in their midst. And people wonder why it was necessary to form two separate nations in the region of British-controlled Palestine once Britain relinquished control.

There was a time when the Vatican took an active military role in defending Christianity and Christian communities. I’m not saying we need to go back to those days, but it would at least be nice if today’s churches, be they Protestant or Catholic, took a more active role in defending Christians around the world or at least were willing to take a strong moral stand against Christian persecution instead of following the wishy-washy moral relativism that they usually embrace.

Thanks for the additional information.

It seems nations do better the closer to zero the Muslim population is.

What about the problem in the UK with the Muzzies killing native-born Brits?

The native born Brits have solved that problem by taking refuge in UK Prisons and Jails.

Block money transfers to Nigeria until the problem is resolved to Trump’s satisfaction.
