Barack Obama is ready to throw his hat back into the political fray.
According to CNN, the two-time former president is “not so sure” that the country will survive Donald Trump’s presidency and is preparing to step up his campaigning efforts in support of the Democratic Party.
Their report states:
After deliberately stepping back during the Biden years — while remaining the party’s biggest fundraiser even then — Obama and his aides are reworking his longstanding strategy of minimizing his public presence to allow the next generation of Democrats to emerge.
Trump’s moves to block Democrats from power since his return to the White House and his calls to indict or shut down liberal institutions might, Obama fears, deny that next generation the chance.

Hitting the campaign trail for moderate gubernatorial candidates, as Obama is scheduled to do in back-to-back stops on Saturday for Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey and Abigail Spanberger in Virginia, is the easy part for the former president.
It’s what to do every other day of the year, and each of the years to come, that he’s been struggling with, according to CNN’s conversations with two dozen top Democratic officials and operatives, as well as several friends who have spoken with the former president since Trump returned to office.
The story quotes former Democratic attorney general Eric Holder, a close friend of the former president, as saying that Trump’s “harm is so profound that this calls for both a different approach generally, and a different involvement specifically by President Obama.”
“If we are focused, if we’re willing to engage, if we are willing to do the work, the nation and our democracy can survive this,” he explained.
“There will be damage done along the way — there’s no question about that. We won’t win every battle.”
Despite remaining a spiritual leader of the Democratic Party, Obama has rarely gotten involved in full-scale political campaigning since leaving office in 2017, although has stepped up for both the 2020 and 2024 presidential campaigns and significant national races.
Obama was said skeptical of Kamala Harris’s chances of winning from the moment she was handed the nomination and anticipated Trump’s victory.
Just this week, it was reported that Obama had exploded after former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi immediately endorsed Kamala Harris after Joe Biden withdrew from the race.
In his upcoming book Retribution, ABC News journalist Jonathan Karl writes that one person summarized Obama’s message to Pelosi as basically, “What the **** did you just do?”
Needless to say, Obama’s instincts were bang on the money and Harris went on to lose by a landslide.

He is doing this to prevent being arrested for treason.
What he’s not so sure of is if the ‘transformation of America’ that he was groomed to help usher in will be entirely reversed such that America continues to be the America he and his handlers hate.
Somehow we survived his two consecutive “we ain’t nothing special” terms. PDJT has done more in 10 months than obnoxious.
So that’s why he’s travelled to Europe three times in the last year.
Obama should be tried for treason, convicted, and publicly hanged.
This must mean Trump is being effective at cleaning out the trash Obama left.
This is all about the midterms. Democrats are also spending tens of millions of dollars on ads between now and the end of the year to solidify blame for healthcare increases against Republicans. So far it does not seem like Republicans are taking that seriously or preparing a response.

If we survived Obama’s abominable presidency, we can survive anything.
We don't have a political party. Right now, it is all Trump.
The GOP is happy to be on the same team as "Assistant Democrats".

He will do a lot to convince people that “our democracy” isn’t being seriously threatened by Trump.
Rather than thinking that the situation is so dire that Obama had to come out of his burrow, people will ask what he’s been doing in there all this time and why they should care what he thinks or says.
It looks, to me, like Trump never plans to respond to the Democrats.
They scream, “Ukraine!”. He bombs Venezuela.

He knows that he is guilty of treasonous crimes.
The projection and hypocrisy of these miserable hacks is immeasurable.
