I guess the ice will now make it to Heaven.
PING!
That chunk of ice would make lots of Slushi’s. My favorite is Coke Slushi
Why bless ice?
The answer is to raise awareness about climate change. The chunk of ice he blessed was actually a chunk of the Greenland glacier. Blessing the piece of glacier at the “Raising Hope for Climate Justice” conference near Rome, Pope Leo called on world leaders to act boldly against climate change.
What a joke ... Jesus wept!
what is a blessing in the bible
In the Bible, a blessing is defined as a divine act of favor or benefit bestowed by God upon individuals or groups, often associated with prosperity, protection, and well-being. It represents God’s kindness, goodness, and mercy, and is seen as an outpouring of His grace over His people, rewarding those who seek Him. Additionally, blessings can be viewed as public declarations of favored status with God, emphasizing His desire to bless humanity. Ultimately, the greatest blessing is the new life and forgiveness offered through faith in Jesus Christ.
I was hoping that a giant whiskey glass would get rolled on to the stage.
LORD Jesus knows how to regulate a planet’s temperature just fine. He doesn’t need any help. We just rent here. It’s not our universe.
This new pope is turning out be be almost as bad as Bergorlio.
Not surprised paganism continues under a new pope.
No mention of change to the homosexual priesthood.
Continue on...
Plain ignorance....just Like the earth is the center of the Universe...
It’s fake. I would have liked to see real ice melt under the stage lights and electrocute the mic.
Just when you thought you’d seen everything. Bizarro world where people follow a religion with a leader like that.
Olly olly oxen free ,LOL
Every year around Easter some Latino car clubs in East LA, the South Bronx and other barrios hold the Blessings of the Cars. A Preist will anoint there rides and pray over them. That’s not very eco minded. The Pope should denounce these rituals 🙄🤔
He wouldn’t bless ICE, of course.
He’ll undoubtedly get on famously with the new Archbishopress of Canterbury - maybe they’ll bury the hatchet after 400 years.
Romans chapter one all over the place, men worshipping what was created rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever, amen.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
Hey. In the Catholic Church, a lot of strange things get blessed. Strange things get blessed in other religions too.
