Well, that was fast.
Just three days after Democrats and the media made a huge deal about Jimmy Kimmel’s big comeback, his ratings have utterly evaporated. Since the beginning of this week when he returned to the air, his ratings have dropped by 70 percent.
It looks like his much-hyped return was little more than hype. A sugar-high lasts longer than this.

Apparently his “triumphant return” produced huge ratings. Curiosity I would guess to see him apologize. The ratings were only out of curiosity. Like going to a freak show just once.

A lot of that happened, I suspect it also had to do with the Liberals vowing to support the guy against Trump, until they watched for a day or two and realized he wasn’t funny and they were wasting their time because they’re so many other Trump atrocities to protest against...
The article brings up a good point. People saw that Kirk was a good man with a wife and two small children and couldn’t stomach Kimmel any longer.
True, I think if you are liberal and have any shred of human compassion remaining in your body, celebrating the killing of a man in front of his family for no other reason than him expressing his opinion is enough to make you reevaluate your support of certain things.
But that 30 percent watch with passion
Its going to fall even more.
Why any late-night show audience would want to see a grown man cry like that in the first place I have no idea.
Thought exercise:
When Xiden moves on from his mortal life will people from around the country fill up a large stadium in a memorial along with tens of millions viewers around the world?
Will tens of thousands of individual people request to build little shrines of this anti-freedom fraudulent president like TPUSA chapters?
Will Xiden’s followers tune in every day to see his shows and listen to his podcasts for a better America?
Did Xiden get taxpayer funded paychecks every week for five decades while destroying the country?
The list is much longer.
The huge ratings story was a lie.
Kimmel’s ratings that first night were great for Kimmel, not the time slot.
They didn’t.

Years ago I saw a poll asking people where they got their “news”. About 30% said late night “comedy” shows. A very sad statistic.
Kimmel was a story for a few days. Now he is back and nobody cares. just like before. On to the next ORANGE MAN BAD fiasco.
This is virtue signaling at its finest. Nobody watched him before despite the outrage. So Kimmel comes backs and the leftists cheer and tune in for exactly one night in support…. Then poof …. Back to Netflix for them…. Back to Jimmy Fallon beating Kimmel nightly

I love good news in the morning! The bottom line is viewership and $$$.
I don’t believe I ever watched his show. I also have no cause to believe I ever missed anything.
Not in this case.
Late night has been bleeding viewers and money for years.
Those guys weren't there to entertain.
Like an aging cam-girl, Kimmel’s ratings were collapsing long before he death slimed Charlie Kirk.
He is especially weak among the key 30-50 year old top spender cohort that ad buyers pay top dollar for......about 230k now, or a mere 15%.
Kimmel’s fan base is aging out and not being replaced.
I know in my little heart know the whole Kirk-Kimmel “ass showing” was a plan to get fired and be hired again. He was to become the Incel, single white girl “Antifa anti-hero” late night host of choice for Sodomite Dems and grab some yunguns, while pumping his flaccid show rating in total.
The numbers?
2015: 2.5 million (average for the year)
2016: 2.3 million (slight decline due to competition and political shifts)
2017: 2.4 million (rebound with political monologues)
2018: 2.2 million (fluctuations)
2019: 2.1 million (continued decline)

His show was losing them $25mm a year and was marked for cancellation.
Kimmel gets $15mm a year.
So, he would rape Kirk’s widow on pay per view for that much at stake.
