On Monday, President Donald Trump issued an advisory for pregnant women to refrain from taking Tylenol or at the very least cut back on their intake of it as a precaution due to a possible link between acetaminophen (Tylenol) and autism.
The reaction to this announcement by the Associated Press that same day displayed an obvious animus that Science was dying. This fury was reflected in the headline of the AP story by Ali Swenson and Lauran Neergaard: "Trump makes unfounded claims about Tylenol and repeats discredited link between vaccines and autism."

The claim is either well founded or its not. It’s up to top researchers and medical schools to prove,or disprove, the claim.
Its a tempest in a teapot.
The change changes nothing. The only thing new is that doctors can re-consider advice to pregnant women about the use of Tylenol for pain while they are pregnant, and there may be a warning about that added to the Tylenol bottles. But legally and by the force of law, nothing has changed. Patients and doctors can continue to consult and make what they think is the best decision in their case. There is no ban on Tylenol at anytime for anyone.

California’s rate of autism births is one in eighteen, so I would think someone would want a solution? That is unless autistic dependents gets you public assistance and funds the medical industry? Then I guess leftists think there’s no problemo.
These leftist pigs don’t have the guts to say “Harvard University Medical Center makes unfounded claims about Tylenol…,” since Trump’s comments were mainly based on Harvard’s recent comprehensive academic study. I think there needs to be lawsuits flying over the propagandists’ efforts to harm people to try to score a few political points.
Tylenol is an ingredient in numerous over-the-counter medications.
Gee - I wonder who funded the Harvard research.
Warning is on the label. They want to abuse it to make a point is just another way to thin the herd.
The steep rise in the incidence of autism or brain impairment in children parallels the steep increase in the use of illegal and prescribed mood altering drugs in the United States. Hard to do good studies because no mother with a brain impaired child will admit she used marijuana, cocaine, amphemamines etc. in the early stages of her pregnancy.
Just saw a frontiers article from 2020 about nsaids and paracetamol. No I can’t link it . Cautioned about using them for Covid because of glutathione issue.
They deserve it. It’s a distraction away from the real issue(s).
Amazing it survived without being scrubbed.
I remember when Ford had the increasing lawsuits about rollover crashes of vans. Although 70 accidents were reported to Ford, none had a reply beyond: “There has never been an accident involving this vehicle. What sadly happened in your alleged incident is the first one.”
A former coworker suggest I try for the job that her girlfriend ended up getting at the nearby Ford headquarters in Dearborn.
I didn’t. She ended up writing letters covering up the scandal and filing away reports dozens of the lawsuits that ended up in court and in the headlines. She was stressed out.
One infamous document in the files said: “And don’t let anyone outside of our company find out these vans are so accident prone. Keep it secret.”
So now the Ape Pee is a medical journal. 🙄
I am in the middle of one of my “episodes” with my Oura ring confirming my temp is 1.7 above my normal...which is still below recognized fever number . I run around two points below normal. Yes they have run tests and don’t know why I stay so low
I am going to try NAC and some version of lipoic acid..a or r to see what happens since I don’t have liquid glutathione yet . I can’t just do NAC because mine is expired.
I still believe that illegal drug use during pregnancy is the main cause, given the people that I know of who have had autistic children. Marijuana use especially is rampant these days, even where it’s not legal, and it’s not the pot that was around when I was young.
Tell us something we don’t already know.
