The United States Transhumanist Party has endorsed independent candidate Timothy Grady in the 2026 race for governor of Ohio. Members approved the endorsement in a majority vote announced by the national organization this month.
In a September 4 statement, Grady said he was honored to receive the support of the U.S. Transhumanist Party and that he and the party “share a commitment to the use of science and technology to the benefit of all.” He praised the organization’s leadership in addressing the real-time implications of emerging technologies, calling them “existential questions that demand leadership and foresight.”
“These are not challenges of some distant future but here and now, raising existential questions that demand leadership and foresight,” Grady added. “I look forward to working with the Transhumanist Party to fight for a better future for everyone.”
Grady, a graduate student and former chair of the Ohio Forward Party, launched his campaign in June, noting at the time that he had developed relationships with a wide variety of political parties and independent groups across the state. In July, Grady named Army veteran Andrea Neutzling as his running mate. The campaign is now petitioning for ballot access.
U.S. Transhumanist Party members voted to endorse the Grady campaign in an electronic ballot held between August 18 and September 1. The organization reported that 86 members participated in the vote. Of those, 66 supported the endorsement, six opposed it, and 14 abstained.
The endorsement coincides with the party’s decision to enter into a political coalition with the U.S. Pirate Party, which it also announced as part of the statement. The coalition, named “All Hands for a Free Future,” follows several months of collaboration between the two organizations. It was first teased by the Pirate Party in early July, which then said that the effort was “all but official” pending ratification of the bylaws.
Speaking on the coalition, Transhumanist Party Chairman Gennady Stolyarov II said, “Joining forces with like-minded champions of individual liberty, technological progress, and universal abundance—while maintaining our distinctive political identities—is the way to effectively challenge the political duopoly in the United States and bring truly innovative policy solutions to the forefront of public discourse.”
Notably, the U.S. Pirate Party has also given its support to the Grady campaign, praising him in an endorsement in August for his shared values with the political group.

Transhumans and pirates?
U.S. Pirate Party? What's their platform? You have to talk like a pirate? Or is it Trump bad...?
They're called the Pirate Party because they embraced the early internet notion that "information wants to be free," hence, they support piracy of intellectual property. Or at the very least, a severe limitation on copyright laws. Much broader "fair use" and shorter copyright terms, etc.
I think that post-BLM they might have pulled back a bit on the free speech, agreeing that "hate speech" should be banned.

If they really believed in evolutionary “ science”, why are they meddling with it ?
Why do they need to “ direct” and enhance it ?
Why are they so keen on giving some such a huge advantage over us others?
What do they propose benefits those of us who will be at such a disadvantage?
Will they offer a normies welfare program ?
What about those whose religion opposes becoming a transhuman ?
Will our religious freedom be respected and allowed ?
Or will they be mocked, then belittled, then vilified, then persecuted ?
For standing in the way of science benefiting everyone, ( except the resistors ).

But there are millions of Transhumanists in our country and around the world. Most of the so called Elites/Globalists, et. al. are Transhumanists.
The US Pirate party always votes R.
You need to do some research on what Transhumanism stands for and what it is doing.

One could organize a larger party of costumed Klingons from any Trek convention.
Whom did the Transspecies Party endorse? Or should I ask what?
