Pretty good. Different sins than mine, but still relevant.

Congratulations! I think it’s perfectly timely and am impressed with how it all works together. I happen to like the style of guitar you used - it is less growly that many and I like it - it doesn’t dominate or get in the way of vocals. Sounds smooth.

The topic is certainly timely and the video expresses the lyrics well. All over, congratulations, Rocco! Thank you for the ping! :D

Far better than the original in every way. I listened to yours and said, "I was there, I would have remembered something this good."

I went back and listened to the original. Im sure I deleted the memory of that song during one of the times I was rebooted because the original is crap. His voice is weak, irritatingly whiny, and begging "please, slap me to death". That incessant KMart keyboard looping would have made me want to smash the TV.

Your vocals are better for this type of song. Youve changed the whole tone not just with the visuals but the character and emotion conveyed. That alt/pop sound that you removed was terribly cringy at the time, Im pretty sure it will go down in history as a similar auditory disaster to whatever this 60s experimental sound was supposed to be (Yeah, whose baby are you?).

Finally adding the guitar solo that should have always been there is a huge improvement. Giving it that little injection of hard rock testosterone really butches the whole thing up and puts it way over the top.

This version I deffinitely could have on my playlist. Did you have much to do with the prompts used to make the video? Im only asking because a couple of the characters look rather close to some real actors. The image of post debauchery despair is so realistic compared to what Ive seen and experienced along with the similarity of that character with one of those in HARDCORE SUPERSTAR - Into Debauchery (OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO) makes me wonder if it was intentional?

Sorry, I was distracted and that didnt entirely make sense...

The story told visually from 0:26-0:40 in particular.

Where's the hope? Without it, that's just a sad, depressing song. (The Ten Commandments/album?) is just a mirror, that shows you your sin(s) - it doesn't "cleanse" you.

Only Jesus' blood does that.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to come off so harsh, it's just how much I need Jesus, kwim?

Easy and enjoyable music to listen to. Great video to go with it. Like the black and white.
