Beijing is set to display a range of previously unseen advanced weaponry during a military parade in Tiananmen Square on September 3, signaling its growing military prowess amid heightened tensions with the U.S. over the Taiwan Strait and South China Sea.
Satellite imagery circulating on social media indicates that the parade, marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II, will showcase several new anti-ship missiles, including the YJ-15, YJ-17, YJ-19, and YJ-20, with “YJ” standing for “Ying Ji” or “Eagle Attack.” Some of these missiles are believed to be hypersonic, capable of traveling at speeds exceeding five times the speed of sound, posing a potential challenge to naval defenses.
“China must bolster its anti-ship and anti-aircraft carrier capabilities to counter potential threats to national security from the United States,” said Song Zhongping, a former Chinese army instructor and military commentator, in an interview with Agence France-Presse (AFP).
Beyond missiles, China is expected to debut at least two unmanned underwater vehicles, designated “AJX002.” The parade may also feature the HQ-29, described by experts as a “satellite hunter” capable of intercepting missiles at altitudes up to 500 kilometers (310 miles) outside Earth’s atmosphere, according to AFP. Additionally, a post from the X account “Zhao DaShuai,” linked to the Chinese military, touted what it called “the world’s most powerful laser air defense system.”

The US has criticized Israel’s persistent tech sales to China, fearing
China’s abuse of US tech will harm the safety an security of American families.
Israel sold technology to upgrade Chinese tanks and planes and also transferred or licensed the Python missile technology (leading to China’s PL-8 missile), the EL/M-2035 Doppler radar, and the Tamam inertial navigation system.
I know that the Obama administration and the Biden administration tried to put the brakes on military research, but it is hard to believe that someone, somewhere, was not doing research in an effort to protect the nation.
Obama (that’s not who we are) as far as I can remember, never once projected American power. His eight years showed the world what the world would look like without American power. Same with the homosexual cult running the Biden administration, who viewed such projection as white supremacist tinkering.

Anyone who thinks the USN is going to sail into the South China Sea and duke it out, is deluded. they will be relegated to proving logistics support/protection initially and from 1,000 miles out.
The first 5 days, at least, will be the playground of the USAF. And the USAF is still overwhelmingly dominant.
The people on Taiwan have to eat, too. They have zero domestic oil production.
Invading is something thought about by Chinese army generals who hope to be in Chinese history books someday.
Bombing Taiwan’s tanker oil import facilities is something the Chinese senior strategists think about . . . to win. Not become famous.
People starving surrender pretty quickly.

China has been training to put a naval blockade ( embargo) around Taiwan. It is clear that is what the last three naval exercises were all about….they throw in a no fly zone and they have the Taiwan leadership negotiating inside of 60 days.
…..nothing in, nothing out….they win without a shot fired. Amazing Americans can not grasp warfare different than US shock and awe, from Russian attritional warfare to Chinese warfare-economic ( Silk Road).
DOD has run every kind of simulation, their modeling has little success against a blockade and the political consequences…..not to mention a 6,000 mile plus theatre of operations 90 miles from China’s front door.
Paid for by the American consumer, thanks to the free traitors.
Every day they ask themselves: What would the US do?
IF there was a political decision to break the blockade, the US could do it.
But at the cost of innumerable lives. Immeasurable treasure.
China is completely unproven militarily. They seem to prefer to overthrow countries from within by corrupting their political systems. We are just supposed to assume that they are a military superpower.
Two words... Retro-reflectors. They beam a laser back to it’s source... Making laser weapons ineffective.
