The California map was made by the Legislature. That is illegal as the commission alone has the power.

But Gavin Newsom has all the power in California.

They’ve put BOTH the Map and the intent to set the power of the commission for a few years up for a vote in the fall. If one fails, they both fail. A lot of Ca People are ticked that the commission did not do the map. So, we’ll see.

Just what has the GOP done to deserve any seats? All I see out of them is obstruction and cowardice. At least the Dems whine, pit fits and make a noise like they are doing something. I guess anything is possible when the alternative is completely unacceptable.

It doesn't matter how many things get through and Trump signs into law, the narrative remains the same. Also contradicts itself as the narrow majority is what makes getting things passed more difficult...but that doesn't stop you all. People like Adam Schiff having taken the gavels in the House sure didn't make any difference, did it? < / s >

HA! The Republicans cannot even gather up a storm to fight the communist Mondami in NYC for the mayoral race. They ought to be fighting tooth and nail for that Sliwa guy, no matter how they feel. Get out the vote for NYC because we are all going to be affected if he indeed controls the biggest city in America!

If GOP voters actually showed up in great numbers in the midterms, they could pull off a lot of gains.

The problem is getting them to go out and vote in the midterms.
