Through an extended weekend full of summitry, President Donald Trump revived the role of diplomacy in addressing the European conflict, making the first allied contact with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin since early in the Ukraine war. Trump rejected efforts by Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky and seven European leaders to escalate the endless proxy war against Russia. Despite his narcissistic peculiarities, the president made more progress toward peace in four days than President Joe Biden did in three years, though there is still great skepticism that the war will soon end.

You are right its too expensive to defend freedom in Europe. Bettrer to just let Russia do as it pleases in Ukraine.
You’ll just love springing for a major European war when Russia invades the Baltics and Poland. It will be over quick, as Russia, seeing what a push over 47 is, will start with tactical nukes ... see, I told you you’d love it.
Ukraine and freedom?
That doesn't exist. Victoria Nuland and her Deep State cohorts oversaw the overthrow of the last freely elected government in Ukraine. Zelensky himself has been sitting as unelected tyrant since March of 2024. The Russian ethnics in the Donbass region were attacked by their own Ukrainian government
Better to just let Russia do as it pleases in Ukraine.
So, better to let Zelensky and his globalist cohorts do as they please with billions of our dollars and who knows how many American lives if they can get away with it, unlike Russia who asks for nothing from us.
We’re already involved in the proxy war. Trump needs to get us out of this not further into it.
