“The Consulate General of Guatemala in Los Angeles deeply regrets this sad event and is currently in contact with the family, providing the necessary assistance,” the consulate said in a statement to KABC-TV. Nice of the consulate to help out the SUV owners. Not sure insurance covers this accident. I'm sure the family is traumatized and will need counseling too.

I hope damage to the SUV was minimal. Actually the driver of the SUV was an innocent person who now has to be emotionally upset with memories of hitting the illegal.
It must have been shocking and the driver would have to try to unsee it.
Hopefully a quick determination by the authorities it was not the driver's fault in any way and then an insurance payoff.

I hope damage to the SUV was minimal. Yeah - and I hope that the driver / passengers of that SUV weren't hurt!
Though maybe they, too, were illegals.
