A Guatemalan man died on Thursday after an SUV struck him as he fled from a federal deportation raid in California.
The morning of the incident, Immigration and Customs Enforcement was raiding a Home Depot in Monrovia, California, according to KABC-TV in Los Angeles.

Actually the driver of the SUV was an innocent person who now has to be emotionally upset with memories of hitting the illegal.
It must have been shocking and the driver would have to try to unsee it.
Hopefully a quick determination by the authorities it was not the driver's fault in any way and then an insurance payoff.

This illegal alien dying is also a result of California policy. How about enforce our immigration laws and help the federal government to clear these people out?

I’m sure he did not have any choice. When someone runs out onto a busy highway, you neither have time to react nor an opportunity to changes lanes without causing an accident, which would not have ended well for the illegal either. But could have caused more loss of life.
