They left the state to prevent voting on a redistricting plan during a special session. Each of the lawsuits asks courts in Democrat-controlled California and Illinois to domesticate warrants under the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the U.S. Constitution, enabling the absent lawmakers to be detained and returned to Texas....

String ‘em up. They are traitors to Texas and Texans.
As are their RINO enablers led by Burrows.
They are being fined $500 per day. Can debate if that is enough but they are trying to get others to pay the fines for them.
Didn’t they all take some kind of oath of office? Have they upheld that oath? Seems like likely cause for dismissal.
That fine is just to coerce them to come back. The nation doesn’t need this type of representation.
These criminals all need millions of citizens to challenge and revoke their bonds as public office holders

That’s not allowed under the Texas statute. Any aid in fleeing, staying away, or returning is described as a bribe under the law. Beto may be in deep doodoo for buying the chartered flight.put me on that jury.

Seems to me that all republicans need to do a commercial for how the Democrats are being paid by taxpayers and then FAILING to SHOW UP for work! Especially in light of the funding for those poor victims of the storms that was held up due to not getting a quorum.
They are less honorable than Texas horse thieves, string them up.
Interstate flight to avoid prosecution. Sounds like a federal rap to me.
