Make him stand for election.
For the children and “our democracy”.....
Rejecting?
I don’t think Zidget was even invited.
If you aren’t at the table, you are on the menu.
Judging by the map, he’s already given up a lot of land and ii in the process of giving up more.
I’m not concerned about a Zelensky hissy fit.
I am concerned about Trump’s back and where Linda Graham is when Trump turns his back.
Not Zelensky’s call. He’s not the boss of Trump.
Mikey is way less than a sympathetic figure.
His best case scenario is he stays in power and accepts a “swap” of territory that he used to have for territory Putin doesn’t want. Sorta like when the schoolyard bully takes your dollar and then settles with you by giving you a quarter back.
Maybe Putin will want a piece of Alaska instead of Ukraine to end the war.
““The answer to Ukraine’s territorial question is already in the constitution of Ukraine,”
This says there has to be regime change in either Ukraine or Russia.
Start packing your bags buddy.
LOL!! That’s basically the same thing Allen Dulles (brother of John Foster Dulles) said when he became the 5th Director of the CIA in 1953. He’d already been Director of the OSS during WWII, briefly Deputy Director of Central Intelligence for Plans, and the 4th Deputy Director the CIA. Nice to see that the CIA hasn’t changed since it began.
Zelenskyy does NOT want peace, he never did, he wants MONEY, MONEY to continue funding his rich lifestyle
Zelensky is trying to blow up the meeting with Putin next week.
Just like he tried to blow up the meeting with Trump at the White House.
We shall see what comes out of the meeting with Putin next week.
Hopefully Peace.
Tell Zelensky that “he who pays the piper calls the tune”. Ukraine is on its last legs and can’t do anything without the US providing military support. If he doesn’t shut up he’s likely to be assassinated (which is fine by me).
Look, you don't have the cards. Any your hand is getting weaker every day.
History teaches that sometimes you have to know when to fold em, even if a principle of never giving an inch is violated. I am not one to take satisfaction from this, but I always believed that Crimea should go back to the Russian federation on historical grounds. As to what Putin can take away in eastern Ukraine, at some point the government in Kyiv has to accept that they are losing too much to keep up the appearances of defending it. It sucks but the situation for all of Ukraine sucks more, just one of those nasty facts of real world politics. If we were to think otherwise and believe very strongly that the territorial integrity of Ukraine (as they view it) is a very important principle, then we should intervene and not just maintain this status quo. I can’t see that the territorial integrity of Ukraine is more important than lack of a global nuclear war. But it’s easy for us outside the conflict to set terms and conditions. If the people of Ukraine want to fight to the last man standing that in some ways is admirable, but is it in anyone’s interest to do so?
If Putin is finally willing to come to the table and agree to specific terms for a ceasefire and Zelensky rejects it out of hand, Trump’s message should be simple - “Ukraine is free to continue fighting if they so choose, but they’ll do it without our military equipment and support”. Trump would then need to pressure the EU into following suit. At some point, Zelensky would have no choice but to cave.
