Unless legislature mapped Crocket out of Texas, she is still eligible to run for her seat in Congress. State residency is all that is required.

There have been numerous examples of Members of Congress serving in office while not living in the boundaries of their district. The US Constitution permits this.

Here's how I see it. Look at the Texas district map at https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/be/Texas_Congressional_Districts%2C_118th_Congress.svg. In the top right corner it zooms in on the Dallas districts, including Crockett's District # 30. Look at the weird shape it is, obviously from the Dims gerrymandering even if it required to make some districts stretch out in weird contortions. They are laughable when they accuse Republicans of trying to take away votes through gerrymandering.
