A lot of people called him black, too. I still think he’s half white, half oriental.

Can you imagine CNN ever saying that a suspect was “possibly black”? I’m almost surprised that she said he was “male”. Is she a biologist?

Like chief moose and those “white” dc beltway sniper suspects right? You can never hate the media enough.

Yeah, right. When this story broke I read on another site the comment, “probably a white MAGA guy.” But focusing on race, outside of the obvious necessity of giving a physical description of the suspect, is itself racist because it presumes that race is a primary reason — or excuse — for the crime.

I am confused. If someone is a light-skinned black, are they not also a dark-skinned white person? These references to “white” and “black” need to be directed into something more productive. Maybe just saying “melanin content around 50%” should be the norm. Saying “mixed-race” could mean Japanese and English, about as white-looking as one can get and be that.

How can the police best describe a suspect they are looking for? I'd say physical features like “narrow” or “wide” nose should be said. “Straight” or “curly” hair. They could take a shot at likely genetic heritage, as in “prominent English” or “prominent mid-African” features, to bolster it. For other possible color influences, “red-toned” or “yellow-toned” skin would enhance American Indian or Chinese features.

For many Americans, the first term might be “heavy” or “fat,” anymore, though.

Two really brutal murders possibly with a knife happened to hikers in Arkansas. Interesting the news media has not constantly reported on it. It was kept quiet for about 6 hours as the police examined the crime scene.

Then there was the mass stabbing at a Walmart. A black man with a gun stopped the attacker.

I believe the fact the NYC attacker used an AR-15 rifle is what keeps the news media on the subject. The AR-15 works much like the Remington Model 8 made in 1906. Yet there were no mass killings with rifles till 1984, and that killer used a common shotgun and a Uzi rifle.
After years of promising they “ONLY wanted to ban and register handguns! Rifles will not be affected!” the democrats have made a grab for rifles starting in 1984.

I again say mass murders really took off like a rocket when, in the 1970s, the mental hospitals were closed and the crazies dumped on the street. Reports last night from NY say the shooter had “mental problems”.

Who was the gal in handcuffs they were running around with in the news clips last night?

And what was the murderer’s weapon of choice? I have seen “experts” confidently identify it as 3 different guns.

As in, “we’re hoping we can pass him off as white”.

You always know the perp is black or another minority group when the media doesn’t show the perp’s face and instead changes the narrative to “The gun” or “Mental issues” if he had been white they would have screamed “WHITE SUPREMACY” but since he’s black, it quickly shifted to the mean mean gun and of course his mental health

Time to send CNN a pigmentation chart they aren’t sure what white looks like but they know it’s a bad color.

I just did a search for this guy’s ethnicity. The result was “Mixed Japanese and Black heritage,” exactly what I said he was on an earlier thread here. CNN doesn’t realize they could actually be offending this murderer’s family by calling him white. I hope whatever family this guy does have sues CNN for misidentifying his ethnicity, and causing them extreme emotional damage over it.
