A federal judge on Friday dismissed President Trump’s lawsuit against the state of Illinois and Governor Pritzker over sanctuary city laws.
US District Judge Lindsay Jenkins, a Biden appointee, dismissed the lawsuit and said federal laws do not force states to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
“Defendants’ motions to dismiss are granted. The individual defendants are dismissed because the United States lacks standing to sue them with respect to the Sanctuary Policies; Cook County Board of Commissioners is dismissed because it is not a suable entity separate from Cook County,” the judge wrote.

Funny how conservative plaintiffs NEVER have standing, while the vaguest sort of harm to a liberal activist group is enough to find standing and to issue a nationwide injunction.

Sanctuary cities are violating federal law, how can the government not have standing? But all these Judges have standing to throw nationwide injunctions out there.

We’ve been told for 35 years now that “only the federal government can make an immigration law” and enforce such.

It is not a matter of “force”, it is a matter of cooperation for the common good.
The very concept of “sanctuary cities” is a cover for support of lawless behavior.
I’m afraid at some point citizens are going to need to teach them some ‘laws’.
He is correct that states can’t be forced to cooperate. However he seems to have left out that they can’t interfere with federal enforcement of immigration laws.
This is nothing new. States do not have to cooperate with federal law enforcement. But neither can they interfere with such enforcement.
I would love to see a GO FUND ME account for 10 or so LEGAL MAGA Hispanics with a lot of tattoos that will all go and visit the neighborhoods of certain lib politicians and judges.

To no one’s surprise the Biden judges are proving to be the worst. Lawless, stupid and agenda driven traitors.
States do not have to cooperate then they don’t need federal money. There’s plenty of precedent for that with the Feds withholding highway funds if a state didn’t have a 55 MPH speed limit or if they didn’t have a 21 year old drinking age to name two examples.
This is like arm wrestling. Must be tiring for Trump and his people against the judges.
This is why Trump must declare that an uncontrolled alien invasion has taken place, the invaders must be repelled and expelled, declare Martial Law and have US troops mobilized to arrest and deport all of them.
ALL OF THEM. OUT OF OUR COUNTRY.

So if the Feds can’t tell the states what to do regarding immigration law, how can they enforce any of the federal laws.
This judge has effectively dissolved the federal govt.
