Of course he does.
Some will put that down to leftist hypocrisy, but Zohran Mamdani, like a lot of Islamists, just cosplays as a Communist. He puts out radical ideas to win over leftists, but many of those same ideas if actually implemented would cause plenty of damage to the Muslim cohort that funded him and turned out the bloc vote for him. Is he serious about them? No. He is serious about Jihad and Islam.
This stuff is just theater, sucker bait for leftists who think they found an even more uncompromising version of Obama.
“My platform is that every single person should have housing, and I think faced with these two options, the system has hundreds of thousands of people unhoused, right? For what?” Mamdani questioned. “If there was any system that could guarantee each person housing, whether you call it the abolition of private property or you call it, you know, just a statewide housing guarantee, it is preferable to what is going on right now.”
According to his ethics disclosure however, Mamdani appears to own 4 acres of land in Uganda. And has owned them since 2012.
Don’t worry. Given a chance, Mamdani will seize some land. But it won’t be because he’s a Communist. It’ll be because the land will fall under his control and those of his pals.
This isn’t some abstract academic ideological war. It’s a tribal war. And we’re the targets.
4 acres? Why, he’s a regular land baron.
I hope he got it cheap.
It doesn’t matter. As long as people believe will give them free food and housing, they will vote for him. He’s like LBJ from BFE.
I wonder how many families could live on that property...
Socialists are so selfish.
Not even 40. Does he have a mule?
Well yeah.
He called for abolishing your private property, not his private property.
A quick search shows that land generally goes for 14,000,000 Ugandan Shillings an acre. Or $3000.
8 million NY’ers, and the best candidate they can find - is the Indian Muslim 5th columnist from Uganda whose family has floated around the British Commonwealth for years, and then suddenly landed in elite leftist American circles of Columbia and Hollywood, who became a citizen a mere 7 years ago??
He’s as phony as they come. Obama 2.0
He’s MI6 or something related.
The ‘seize private property’ thing is for the $hit-upon ordinary folk. The ruling elite have private property, and don’t anybody try to steal it!
In a communist economy, the fools who go out to work and see only a meager take home are the ones who don’t own anything. Oh, they may “own” a house or a car, but not really. The collectivity finds it’s more convenient to let the folks think they own something.
If this guy becomes mayor he won’t give up his property nor will he give his money to the collectivity. What he will give is his middle finger.
Indeed control is his game with a mask the suckers will assist.
The ignorant are always the first select for a plan to work.
Obama was the first test of it elected twice.
That’s going to short-dick every cannibal in the Congo.
What did sarge mean by that?
I remember Pete Seeger braying on and on about the evils of private land ownership while he owned quite a stretch of shoreline along the Hudson. As long as the fawning MSM is willing to let them get away with their hypocrisy, no worries, full speed ahead.
He hopes that someday he will be as rich as Bernie Sanders.
Rules for ye, but not for me.
Some pigs are more equal than others.
And other famous socialists lines now appropriate for this guy
There’s been a lot of American politicians up to something in Uganda and Ghana. My suspicion is hiding money in foreign accounts. That’s where Karen Bass was when arsonists burned out the Palisades. What would the mayor of LA be doing in Ghana?
The RATs moved their money laundering operations from Ukraine to Uganda and Ghana?
I’m not sure, but I definitely spotted a trend for about two years now. Reporting laws and regulations are sketchy at best there. I suspect one may have to own property there to hold accounts. In the 80’, 90’s, it was the Carribean Countries, but they eventually signed on to reporting laws.
Very.
