The Spirit Airlines of the past is officially no more. In January, the airline updated its rules to include a crackdown on inappropriate passenger attire.
Outrageously, to some, you can’t fly barefoot on the airline anymore. Nor can you be dressed in a manner that is deemed to be inappropriate.
That means you can’t wear items such as see-through clothing or an outfit that exposes private parts. A tall order for some.

Like I’ve posted, re-regulate the airlines and bring back PanAm!
I heard a comedian talking about how on an airline, when there is a medical emergency, they ask if there is a doctor on the plane.
He said on Spirit when they ask that he’s thinking “No doctor would ever be flying on Spirit. They ought to be asking for someone who has ever watched Grey’s Anatomy or ER”.
LOL!!!
we don’t fly them anymore because they didn’t even notify anybody on our flight that they’d cancelled it WEEKS before the scheduled date.
So, everyone showed up at the airport with baggage entow.
No Spirit agents anywhere, none. Agents from other airlines too pity on the crowd and managed to place us (and I believe most of the people) on other airlines. Last minute tickets being more expensive than the early-bird tix we’d bought, we had to pay $2200 MORE. And never got a return call or refund for our tix on the ghost, non-existent airline.
It was interesting that the agents from the other 2 airlines, the helpful people ... had to book us on yet another (4th) airline....and then they called for a golf cart shuttle to hustle us over to the departure gate...
The helpful agents and their airlines were not making a cent from us strandees
whereas our original airline didn’t even have an agent on duty in the entire airport to help anybody
word to wise.

Here is the scoop so you don’t have to waste time...
The overweight young lady is wearing a sleeveless top along with matching bottoms that could be considered swimwear WITH a heavy fleece “Versace” robe over the whole mess (in Miami in July). She should have kept the robe closed the entire time and nothing would have been said. BUT(T), she obviously wanted attention. She acted a fool with LEO, then her sistah managed to get herself arrested (probably because they were disrespected).
Sigh.

I fail to see a problem, unless some ghetoopotamus comes onboard with them.
How about bring back social norms,like no raggedy shorts in church or tank tops...my brother married his dtr off recently and it said “formal wear”..not that he expected tuxes and long gowns but he didn’t want shorts or raggedy clothes.
