On July 15, 2025, leftists showed up at the meeting of the Costa Mesa, Calif. city council to try to intimidate it into declaring Costa Mesa a sanctuary city. Alerted by Telegram and other social media, patriots flocked to the meeting to support ICE and the Trump administration's efforts to curb illegal immigration. This five-minute video shows how one resident, carrying an American flag, shut down the meeting with a rousing and eloquent defense of ICE.

Indeed! Last year, mayor Skip Hall of Surprise, Arizona ordered a woman arrested as she spoke out at the city council meeting alleging corruption among city officials. In what resembled a scene out of Nazi Germany, she was handcuffed and dragged out of the meeting place and off to jail as she was screaming that they were violating her right to free speech. A court later agreed with her and dismissed the charges with prejudice
