“It was Jeffrey Epstein’s 50th birthday, and Ghislaine Maxwell was preparing a special gift to mark the occasion. She turned to Epstein’s family and friends. One of them was Donald Trump.”

The Wall Street Journal just dropped the story Trump desperately wanted buried:his 2003 birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein, complete with a hand-drawn naked woman and his signature positioned as pubic hair.
“Happy Birthday -— and may every day be another wonderful secret.”
Those seven words, written before Epstein’s first arrest, demolish Trump’s narrative of minimal contact.
The intimate tone, the shared “secrets,” the bizarre sexual imagery-—this isn’t how acquaintances communicate.
Trump’s response? Threatening to sue the WSJ while claiming he’s “never drawn a picture in my life.”
The same denial playbook, different scandal.
The letter’s mock dialogue is even more damning: “We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.”
What things? What secrets?
This explains everything: why Trump won’t release the files, why Bondi backtracked, why the DOJ suddenly found “no incriminating client list” after promising transparency.
@elonmusk was right to ask:
“How can people have faith in Trump if he won’t release the Epstein files?” Now we know. He can’t release what implicates him. The 63% who disapprove aren’t conspiracy theorists. They’re Americans who recognize a cover-up when they see one

AFAIK it’s not illegal to draw bawdy pictures and send them in a birthday card.
Like disregard for character...
Who authenticated the card, signature and provenance?
Disgraceful WSJ runs with this without the above answered front and center.
It is stupid to say that results over character is a bad idea? Are you sure?
These are the same corrupt people working with the same corrupt CIA and DOJ who have tampered with the Epstein files and then truly unthinking people believe this administration is covering up the Epstein files.
It is discouraging but not too surprising to witness - a legion of thick headed and easily manipulated citizens.
Hoax is right.
‘ And President Trump has gone on the record saying that’s not from him.’
He’s also on record saying the unibomber was a student at MIT taught by his uncle and described how smart his uncle said he was.
Except he didn’t go to MIT, and his uncle died 10 years before Kasinski was caught.
So, we have to believe lawyers now?
Since when?
Is it raining? Wait, no. You’re peeing on my leg.
Clinton inserted a cigar into Monica Lewinsky’s cooch. Wasn’t the refrain from the left “they all do it.”
You need to stop taking everything Trump says literally.
Comparing his character to Hitler is what desperate democrats do.
WTH? This is a big nothing burger even if it were true.
Are you equating Trump with Hitler? Are you sure you’re on the correct forum?
That's the only aspect of this story that matters.
Okay... I guess?
There is apparently a card with drawing on it that is from Trump to Epstein.
President Trump says he did not draw what is on the card.
Again, not understanding what reasonable conclusions can be drawn regarding a card given what is alleged to have been written or depicted by President Trump.
I wouldn’t have sent that. But that’s me.
I must be over tired, I read your A-I comment and thought it was about A1 the Worcestershire sauce…which I thoroughly enjoy and almost panicked.
‘ You need to stop taking everything Trump says literally.’
lol. What?
In the example I provided, (here’s the clip)

What should the listener take from it?
This some sort of parable?
Seriously. What point was he trying to convey that we should take that isn’t literal?
WSJ has been leaning National Enquirer-ish. i remember when it was my Go To.
“Sounds pretty bad to me.”
Only if you have your head three feet up your ass.
Twenty-five years ago. So, of course, Trump is responsible for every thing Epstein did for the remaining twenty-five of his life.
I wouldn’t have sent it either.
But given everything that has come out about them and the fact he’s lambasting everyone, including his base, for wanting answers and refusing to release any more info, for people to try to shame others into looking the other way is ludicrous and a stain.
