Law enforcement conducted a bust at a home in Dallas while searching for a suspect involved in the July 4 ambush of an ICE facility. During the search, authorities found alleged members of Antifa and more than 40 firearms.

The FBI is still on the lookout for Benjamin Song, a 32-year-old from Dallas, who allegedly took part in an “ambush” that wounded a police officer at an ICE detention center in Alvarado on July 4. Song was a member of the Antifa militant group Elm Form John Brown Gun Club, and had a radical past in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.

A law enforcement source told The Dallas Express that authorities recently busted a home near Deep Ellum in search of Song.

While they didn’t find Song, they allegedly found more than 40 guns, socialist propaganda, and numerous members of the Antifa militant group, John Brown Gun Club, apparently living there. Among them was Samuel Fowlkes, who reportedly started identifying as “transgender”.

As The Dallas Express reported, two other suspects in the Alvarado ICE assault were also “transgender“ – Cameron Arnold, who goes by “Autumn Hill,” and Bradford Morris, who goes by “Meagan Morris.”

The Dallas Express reached out to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, which said it had “no comment at this time.” Dallas Police Lt. Tramese Jones confirmed the matter “is not a Dallas Police Department investigation.”

Fowlkes was previously arrested for allegedly assaulting a peace officer outside a drag event in Fort Worth in 2023, an incident also involving the arrests of fellow John Brown Gun Club members Christopher Guillott and Meghan Grant.

Song was also reportedly present at the 2023 drag event. He and others were later named in a lawsuit alleging “battery, assault, stalking, and conspiracy” against protesters.

Fowlkes’ criminal trial had reportedly been postponed as of January. The Dallas Express contacted the Tarrant County DA’s office, but was referred to the court records division.

The Dallas Express submitted an inquiry to the court records division but did not receive a response by publication time.

Turning the Suspects

Authorities appear to be turning the Alvarado ambush suspects against one another.

Defendants have reportedly begun cooperating against Song, the source told The Dallas Express. Song allegedly purchased four firearms used in the attack.

A “cooperating defendant” told officials the gunfire in the attack came from one of Song’s rifles, which had a “binary trigger” – like one of his weapons abandoned at the scene, according to the criminal complaint. Another defendant also said he traveled with Morris to the facility the night of the attack.

Cell data indicates Song hid in the woods near the facility for a day after the attack and turned off his phone during that time. He later fled, according to the complaint.

On July 6, authorities located a white Mercedes-Benz registered to one of Song’s relatives near Morris’ South Dallas home at 2456 56th Street. A search reportedly turned up nine firearms and three body armor vests.

The house was allegedly a “staging location” for the attack, according to the complaint. Here, they found Arnold – who identifies at “Autumn Hill.” Another defendant allegedly “confirmed” Arnold was at the ICE facility during the attack.

Song has also been training Antifa members in combat, appearing in 2022 on an account called “Anarcho-Airsoftist” – an apparent militant training ground in the DFW area. He had earlier been arrested in Austin in 2020 for aggravated assault during a riot.

Song attended the University of Texas at Austin, then UT at Arlington. He was also a member of the Marine Corps. reserves starting in 2011, but in 2016, received an “other than honorable discharge.”

In a few short years, Song apparently went from serving his country to rioting in the streets.

Following the ICE facility ambush, he fled. Now, investigators allegedly found one of his former Antifa associates – now identifying as “transgender”. Officials found guns and socialist propaganda, but no Song.

The FBI is offering a $25,000 reward for his arrest, and Gov. Greg Abbott announced an additional $10,000 reward.

Song is considered “armed and dangerous.” Anyone with information should call visit tips.fbi.gov, contact the nearest American embassy or consulate, or call 1-800-CALL-FBI.

These types of raids should have been done in 2020.

Song will be involved in another shooting, I’d lay bets on that and when he does, he will be killed.

I suspect that when many of these privileged 20 somethings start looking at 10-20 in the federal pen they will start turning on their fellow "revolutionaries". This isn't 2020 and they will be discovering that "catch & release" has been canceled.

It will take a little time. They have been sold the fantasy by President auto pen that they are not subject to real world consequences. These purple hair non binaries will not find the federal pen to their liking.

The solution to violence is more effective violence in response. These aren’t criminals, these are domestic terrorists. It time to start treating them, their political supporters and their funders as such.

Not that far, necessarily. Seems like Tre Arrow was the last lefty fugitive-with-his-heart-in-the-right-place of note. Different times, though. This guy should be run to ground as quickly as the murderer of Aaron Danielson. I suspect he knows it, and there will be gunplay involved in his arrest.

I just received an Emergency BLUE ALERT on my cell phone about Song & the FBI tip line for information on his whereabouts. I’m in the Tulsa area & the alert said there is no credible information that he is in OK.

Maybe not but I’m betting that he is no longer in Texas.
