If he quit now before he even gets started fighting then he is weak, he came in as a warrior tough guy going to work on a long and difficult task that would meet tough, deeply entrenched, and sophisticated resistance, and the mission hasn’t even started yet.

Sadly the buck stops with Trump on this matter.
How do the Epstein files affect me and the important interests of the country? Why are their release so important to MAGA when compared to the other more important issues that Trump campaigned on?

It appears he’s already made a deal. He’s agreed not to expose Israel’s involvement in the Epstein saga and in return Netanyahu is expected to accept Trump’s plans for the Mideast. At least that is the most likely scenario at this point considering all this happened at the same time as Netanyahu’s WH visit.
If he resigns it means he can go back to talking crap on his podcast instead of actually producing results.

Except, I didn’t leave... I waited, until I could prove that this guy falsified environmental records. And then, when I took the evidence to my bosses, I told them they either fire him, or I send the evidence to the Louisiana DEQ.

In the long run, this is not about the Epstein mess.
It is about power.
Trump is a leader who wants to exercise all the power at the disposal of the POTUS.
He can’t do that ALONE.
The two most important subordinates under him are his chief of staff and his AG.
Nixon and Watergate exposed how important those positions are.
Wiles the Ice Queen appears to up to the job and way, way superior to anyone Trump had in that position during his first term.
Blondi is not.
If the AG is comparable to Don Corleone’s consigliere, then Trump needs a war time consigliere because Trump is always under attack by those who want to take him out.
Depends on how one frames it, whether it is respect or fear, an AG for Trump must be strong and have one or the other.
Blondi has been on the job long enough to fairly say she has not gained much respect and no one fears her no matter how many blathering pressers she does.

The handling of this entire matter starting in February does not feel like it is her handiwork.
Wiles tends to under-promise, not over-promise.

I have always seen Dan as Black and White. He doesn’t deal in shades of gray. Not the type of man that can survive in the place he is now.
The list is just too controversial to make public. At least so someone has decided. Either that or it is too useful unpublished. I doubt that it does not exist. One reason I think it is real is it has been discussed too many times. Bongino has been talking about it for a long time and thinks anyone on it should be investigated for capital crimes. He is a fellow who does not care who is injured if they are guilty and does not have a problem getting people who are only guilty by association dirty or hurt in the process.
I think you could be correct at least to a degree.
