In Florida, Attorney General is an elected, and therefore political, office.

She was a politician with an (R) after her name. ...............

Will you accept Trumps decision if he keeps her on?

It’s his call, and his call alone

Some of the people here are delusional. Who could have been on that list, who also had the ability to bury it if he wanted to lol?

Joe Biden would have used it against Trump.

Various rumors about Dan. He has quit. Ready to quit. Wanted more info out and Bondi refused. he hasnt been there since Wednesday etc.

If trump sides with Bondi I think Dan leaves. This is sort of like a bridge too far which also happened to Musk. I think Patel continues on even though he might be mad

I still dont understand why she just wont release EVERYTHING..what harm does it do her..just release what you have, if its new info, if its old info who cares, just release it and thats it..dont just say “Oh nothing more to see here moving on” this is hurting her, it makes it look like she’s hiding something..then the next day the Comey and Brennan being under investigation, yeah Im thrilled but I doubt it amounts to anything but it was more like “Here maga base, we threw you a bone happy now now forget about Epstein” that is how it appeared to me

Before we get there—I will try to use the minimal influence I have to persuade him to fire her—for the good of the country and the administration.

The stakes are high.

We should try to make this a win win.

It was clear that Bondi was mishandling this whole issue when she pulled the binder stunt. She clearly was treating the issue like a publicity stunt and doing so without even doing her research. She should have known that material had already been released and that it didn’t have revelations in it; yet she blew it up as a big deal for publicity, dragging in a bunch of online influencers.

And maybe even worse, she replied in the affirmative to a question about the “client list,” even though she made it clear she hadn’t even looked at the files yet and I believe it’s pretty obvious she just meant that silly binder she gave the influencers. Now she’s convinced a lot of people that a client list (still?) exists because of that carelessness, while let’s face it why would Epstein have been foolish enough to create a crimes list and why would people in the gov covering up for anyone who might be on the list keep it to incriminate themselves?

There’s no way she should have been speaking on this subject and trying to gin up publicity from it until she had thoroughly reviewed all the available documents and evidence and determined if there was any prosecutable incriminating evidence left in the files and if there really was a list of actual clients and not just people’s names that happened to be in his documents. Now after a few months of a significant FBI search into the documents and footage with multiple agents assigned to it, she comes out with a take that of course was going to be seen as suspicious because of her early comments. She’s needlessly hurt Trump with this. It’s almost like she was trying to stir up a whirlwind of conspiracy theories and resentments over this (though I think it was just incompetence personally).

“Bondi was also part of the plea deal for Epstein in FL.”

That’s a nugget I’ve not heard in the multiple discussions on podcasts of recent days. I think that gives further context & weight to the dismissal of Bondi being the only outcome to hold the MAGA coalition together.

Loomer is annoying and weird, but she has a much better track record for truth telling than Barbie does.

The only one who can make sense of this is Alex Jones. He thinks that the Trump/DoJ got some concessions from the deep state to get some of their agenda. So they had to make it credible that they were going to prosecute this which explains the public information that was released.

Good post.

Re Bondi looking like a moron...notice that Trump cut Bondi off not once, but twice, and said Epstein was a “waste of time” so obviously that was telling her to cut it off. Bondi didn’t take the hint and started re-parsing her previous statements to John Roberts. Most people are bright enough to take a strong hint from their boss.

But to your point that Trump can simply demand she release everything, that is something very fundamental to this whole scandal that is being overlooked. He can call all three in and get them on the same page, which is probably Step #1 in terms of managing this mess.

If Trump were on an actual “client” list or there was any evidence he did anything illegal, it would have been out there ages and ages and ages ago. Don’t you think it’s a certainty that Obama would have used that against Trump in 2016 or Biden would have used it in 2024, if somehow that were true? They convicted him of a paperwork error that they pretended was multiple felonies. If they had something like that in their files, it would have been turned into one of the biggest political scandals ever. (And let’s not pretend they couldn’t have simply released the files—or certainly leaked the files to the media—on just Trump, conveniently leaving out Dems.)

Talk about delusions...

And that the release of info would virtually gut the EU and other governments.

People like the kings and prime ministers of places like England, Spain and France...

All of this is silly. MSNBC and CNN are enjoying every minute of it.

The fallacy is that this “list” was talked about so much prior to the election, people actually believed one really existed. As if Jeffry wrote down everyone’s name who hooked up with some teen. (that seems really odd to do) To date, only Prince Andrew, Maxwell, and Epstein himself are accused directly of some kinky hookup by a victim. Others - including Dershoitz- have only been named as flying on a plane or going to one of his properties. And Dershoitz just happened to be shooting his mouth off now about a list. I personally don’t believe there ever was a list, nor do I think Epstein farmed out teens to everyone. No one can convince me that with all the people who he knew, not one person saw some teen hookup and thought about turning him in, or blackmailing him.

Bondi wasn’t succinct in an answer which resulted in some firestorm from those that don’t like her, Trump, and those who have convinced themselves there was a list. If only people got this upset over other things.

In the last two weeks, we’ve heard coverup, cover up with Bongino and Patel, coverup from Bondi, Epstein was working for Mossad, or CIA.

Next thing we will hear is there is a server in Germany with uploaded pdf images of the perps, and it’s being raided.

In the past “ministers” would resign if their honor was questioned.

Bongino doesn’t need any of this stuff. He had a good career and a strong following before he went back to government. If he resigned over this, his stock would rise.

Disagreement with a policy is an acceptable reason for resignation.

“he had every room wired for video, “

Even bedrooms and bathrooms, per Virginia G. IIRC, they were “pinhole” cameras that guests weren’t aware of.

“what harm does it do her”

I think I answered it.

Imho she has made false statements about the Epstein files.

—She keeps saying “child porn”, for example. I don’t think that is what is in the files. There may be teenagers—but I don’t think there are children in there.

I am only speculating about what other false statements she may have made—since of course I don’t know what is in the files.

There was an anecdote in a recent Megyn Kelly interview about Bondi at the White House back in February. The President invited some web “influencers” into the Oval Office and also invited many members of the cabinet.

The President spoke very highly about several of them and then was about to move on to another topic.

Bondi was in the back of the room. She shouted out “What about me, Mr. President? What about me?”

That is off the charts unprofessional. This is what we are dealing with here—not ready for prime time.

What if Trump was on the list, but also prominent Democrats, like maybe Bill Clinton? Then what would Biden do?
