Mothers with boyfriends. And ex-boyfriends. I think I see the problem.
Sometimes the left hand just doesn’t know what the right hand is doing.
So name the bill after Pritzker.
Call it “Jabba’s Law.”
Assuming Jerry Nadler hasn’t already used that in Congress.
She can ask for that, but sometimes, a story is so big and effects so many people, the family sort of loses ‘ownership’ of that tragic tale. Especially when all the details are uploaded online, available to all.
It moves into what’s known as
Public Domain, like it or not. Her very clear demand might make a few refrain from using the name of her deceased son, but not all. This is different than a hospital releasing private medical information to the public. That would be a
(HIPPA Violation. Health Ins. Portability and Accountability Act). You better not do that.
What a sad and outrageous situation. How awful for her younger son to lose his older brother like that and to witness the murderous scene. The mother sent Pritzker a very well-written letter.
…And if they didn’t? Couldn’t they claim they were dehumanizing him by _not_ saying his name?
Thanks for posting this! And thank to Ms. Smith for her powerful letter.
That Pritzker is a real pig. Kudos for calling him out!
RIP Jayden Perkins, a brave boy who gave up his life for his mom.
See tagline!
She should have an open and shut negligence case against this disgraceful parole.board.
This mother can never be consoled by politicians or lawyers. In the end this is a morality tale for a culture that has embraced neo pagan, hedonistic decadence.
I hate living in this state anymore. I have lived here all my life, I just wish I could afford to move out. The democrats have ruined it, and the republicans don’t seem to give a damn…..
Prayers to the family. Ms Smith should have been told that Illinois let out a deranged idiot, so she could have find a better place (like Florida or any place that enforces the law) to protect her family.
Not really. When you read stories like this, almost all of them involve blacks. What is it in their culture that makes them think violence is the solution to every problem? That's not a racists question. It's a legitimate question based on facts.
