ICE isn't going anywhere and will continue to do what Mayor Bass has utterly failed to do – protect the citizens of Los Angeles. If she wants distance from federal law enforcement, I'm sure there is an upcoming diplomatic trip to Ghana

So, in reading the above excerpt, they didn't really tell her to go back to Ghana, as in go back to Africa. It was suggested that there might be a diplomatic trip she could take to Ghana.
I would suggest other places she should go. A place in Florida surrounded by alligators would be nice this time of year.

I just don’t understand why these Mayors and others are doing this? What have they to gain?
Democrats rely on the presence of illegals for different reasons perhaps, but the base reason is political power. If President Trump can get illegals removed from the Census, power will shift dramatically away from Blue States.
They are looking for street cred among the rest of the hate America crowd. She hates America, she hates you. There’s nothing happy, positive or forward thinking about her and the others like her
Mayor and Mayorkas should be in Alligator Alcatraz the rest of their miserable lives. Aiding and abetting.
They put themselves in a damned if we do damned if we don’t situation. If they side with Trump, conservatives know she’s full of it and just doing it to get reelected. If she sides with her fellow America haters which she has, that’s the only route available.

Bass needs those illegals to vote - and therefore protects them.
There are also a lot of stupid voters in her city. She’ll be re-elected, most likely in landslide, over a far better candidate such as Rick Caruso.
Votes from families who are harboring illegals who are working, and scrounging as much money, and benefits as they can (many times with criminal activity) from American institutions.
Would not be surprised if many are working with(under the threat of death) drug cartels.
