Let’s be blunt. This is written by a dyed in the whole neocon warmonger paid to pump up profits for the MIC. One of the goals is to get boots on the ground in the ME because otherwise the Army doesn’t have a leading mission in the world. Opposing the pivot to China by keeping war going in the ME is a key part of this strategy. These war mongers are guilty of premeditated murder.
I have to apologise. They are apolitical and don’t take money from suspect sources without disclosure. But they do need a revenue stream of neutral money. To this end they state “We hope in the future to secure syndication agreements (we currently are syndicated by Microsoft, for example) to diversify our revenue streams and readership.”

The islamist leadership in Iran has a deep, religious commitment to destroy Israel and kill every Jew. That’s not going to change with any “agreement”.
Long term, there are only two solutions:
1) The conversion of Islam away from the need to kill all unbelievers, or
2) The annihilation of Islam.
The Democrats primary constituency is now third world illegals and "main stream" ( i.e. virulenly orthodox ) Muslims.
Iran still has missiles and launchers, but now a shortage of top techs and senior leadership. The shortage could change in weeks or months. No indications US is requiring Iran to give up its proxies. This is just a tactical hudna.
The various reasons aside as to why some think this war is not over, what I glean from this is maybe Pres Trump jumped the shark a bit in announcing the ceasefire and promising peace between Israel and Iran.
I just don’t see the Iranians being ready to sit down and make nice. The current regime, however precarious their footing is now, is still in charge. That includes not their internal security apparatus.
besides, the Iranians have for years proved time and time again that they are not to be trusted. Their recent round of so-called “negotiations” should have proved that.
You are absolutely right on the money except for one thing. That they even know what humiliation means. We are dealing with a culture that believes in martyrdom. They see this as a win and pre-martyrdom. And that is why we have not taken out the clergy. It would just strengthen their resolve.

Good read. Islamists are like Fire Ants, they will always be looking to “start” something, and they are too big and spread out to exterminate. It will be an ongoing hot/cold war for a long time. Israel is tiny and Islam will nuke it out of existence if it gets the chance. Until things will carry on as always.
Look at Saddam and his weapons programs for a clue where this goes.

Dig deeper. Islam is a western generic term, Sunni vs Shia must be understood. The Sunni and Shia have been massacring each other since 600 AD.
The Sunni nations have been relatively quiet about what is happening to their Shia “ brothers “. Most of the Sunni nations have recognized Israel’s right to exist…..the Shia have not……figure it out from there.
