“Born” to be king!?
Wouldn’t that be nice;-)
“Nobody in Iran supports this clown.”
And just how many Iranians have you spoken to about it?
Give us the number.
L
Whatever. I just want Iran to stop throwing ballistic missiles at me and mine, and tend its own garden. If Pallazi will do something along those lines, it works, whatever you call it.
As for banks, they’ve been with us for some time. They charge interest and late penalties. Ezra Pound didn’t like them much. Neither did Hitler and Mussolini. Beats having your wife thrown off a roof because her hair was showing. Beats having missiles lobbed at your neighborhood.
Rezza! Rezza! Rezza!
Whether you him or not, by announcing his willingness to get rid of the current government and go back to Iran puts a giant target on his back. He is a prime candidate for assassination by the Iranian regime.
The Shah was no angel, and unless this guy is any better, I hope we aren’t backing him.
People just want a straight forward democratic republic.
Well, WE do. But do the people living in Iran, or have they been so radicalized that they want to keep the ayatolloh?
“Born” to be king!?
Oh, no. I hear rock ‘n’ roll music.
Coming off the airplane
With my imprimatur
Rebuilding my nation
With whatever comes my waaaaay
I was born, born to be kiing
Yes, I was born, born to be kiing
That most definitely is my thiiing
BORN TO BE KIIIING! BORN TO BE KIIIING!...
He’s disavowed any royal ambition. The Pahlavis were usurpers and thieves, for that matter. So were the Ayatollahs. Cudos to him for disavowing.
Not necessarily so...that target you speak of by the current regime and their cronies has ALWAYS existed.
Let the iranian people choose what type of govt THEY want, not some shuffling dregs of a corrupt past regime .
This is how formerly monarchist nations refer to deposed royal families. This man is the son of the former king, who was called Shah Reza Pahlavi. The Pahlavi family have been in exile for 46 years, since Jimmy Carter helped the Islamist tyrants to overthrow his father's modernizing reign, where back in the 60s and 70s, Iranians could wear Western clothing and women could go to college and work outside the home, among other freedoms the Shah had initiated. Carter's arrogance and the despotic Islamists have thrown Iranian society back to the middle ages.
Reza Pahlavi—the son—is not proposing to return as a monarch, but as an advisor and leader of a transition from the murderously repressive Islamist regime to a secular democracy that participates in the free world economy and allows religious pluralism. There are many underground Christians in Iran; there was a previous history as a Persian culture older than Christianity, and he says that the Iranian people will want a stable relationship with Israel.
And you know this how?
Not emotional, but historically factual. He is the son of the former crowned head, Shah Reza Pahlavi, who was deposed by the current tyrannical regime with the help of Jimmy Carter.
The best I can say for Carter is that he was a naive fool who thought that Islam, being a relligion, would probably be just the same as Christianity. There are a lot of fools who thought that way, not recognizing that the two ways of thought are directly opposite and forever incompatible. There can be no "coexist" with islam.
Had you listened to what he had to say, you might have a glimmer of hope. He explained, over and over in at least three languages (completely fluently in English, Farsi and French and possibly others), that the strikes by Israel and the US are game-changing. While a revolution will not occur immediately resulting inregime change, the strikes have taken away two of the main tools of oppression used by the regime against the Iranian people. This gives the people a window to force a relatively peaceful change, although of course there will be some hard times to get there, much like it has been for us to deal with the left's continual strafing and drain on our body politic.
He is not asking the US to get involved on the ground, but rather to stop appeasing the Islamist regime due to their nuclear threats, which our President and Netanyahu have now neutralized for the time being.
Iran was the ancient nation of Persia, described in the Bible. Its long history and traditions, in existence since long before the rise of Muhammad, have been missed by the the Iranian people for the past helf century, just as we miss the America that has been taken from us by the globalist oppression..
He is not pretending. He is the son of the deposed Sovereign, Shah Reza Pahlavi, driven out by Jimmy Carter’s stupidity. This is how monarchist societies refer to exiled royals.
That family's empowered killer intelligence agency SAVAK was at least equal to, and perhaps unparalleled by another anywhere else on earth
. We, as children of the Founding Principles of the freedoms and God-given rights (God's reserved to Himself and no other. no "Divine rights" of a monarch) should not ever even think of supporting the feudal system that overwhelmed Europe's and Asia's populace.
Nor should we countenance anarchy, mobocracy, tribalism, the like decadent resorts, all of which taken to the limit causes humanity to vanish by suicidal deadly selfishness.
Our nation, in the tutored minds of our Founders, was modeled to be a Christ-serving congregationl-guided organization designed for the benefit of every child of God, clamping down on criminals unwilling to forsake their inborn original sinful nature; a culture giving the ordinary citizen to terminate that criminal if and when so lawfully required; a citizen afforded protection through his/her armament against being victimized.
Never support a king or queen or Shah or Ayatollah or Pope or Commissar who attempts the same posture as Lucifer, the Devil and Liar, satanicall/adverse to the individual sovereignty of the created human over his/her own self. Rather, one's righteous prefernce is to sovereignly carry out the Golden Rule enunciated by the Messiah, and to do it with Satanic interference Providentially negated.
Satan's innate adversarial desire, first adopted by Cain, was to be like and equal in power over life and death; a power that truly abides rightfully only in the Creator and Lord of All. The Triune Godhead's prime and praiseworthy desire is that every created individual should enjoy eternal abundant life physically, mentally, and spiritually; and to have the sweetness of everlasting fellowship with one's Creator, Lord, and Heavenly Father.
There is no place for a Muslim Iran's existence, none outside of the God of the Bible (their Allah had no Son). The time of Cyrus-led Medio-Persian global rule was obliterated long ago, as was that of Hellenism and Romanism. That kind of reign was abolished at the Cross of Calvary. Finished.
Anything of it that has lingered yet is still redundant and unworkable, including Romanism's state religious organ, claimimg to be "Christian" in nature, but abandoning its first command by which God alone gives a person heavenly citizenship.
Amen.
The reason why his family and his father were exiled is that they were NOT islamic extremists; but rather sought to modernize Iran and participate with other free nations in trade, tourism, etc. I do not get the sense that he is a CIA plant like Chalabi.
You are discounting the role of the meddling CIA, globalist propaganda and all the same kind of forces that installed the Obama dn Biden regimes in this country illegitimately. Same thing happened over there. Gross miscalculation by the U.S. Deep State that somehow, a bunch of mullahs in dresses would be like putty in our hands compared to a royal family.
Delusions of grandeur?
