The Iranian people can’t speak freely.
I’m sure this guy has better sources than your several American podcasters..

I see a mess coming far greater than Iraq ever was. This pampered poodle won’t last long in that place.

How do you refer to Leka Zogulu? Louis Bourbon?

The existence or nonexistence of a monarchy in Iran is an objective fact. It’s not a partisan issue.

The Crown Prince of Iran Reza Pahlavi gives a news conference

Worth listening to.

His Father was a reasonable and fair monarch, highly Western oriented, which is why he was overthrown.

Iran and Persians have absolutely nothing worthwhile offered from any other group.

Most likely he would not eliminate enough Islamists, Ayatollahs and Communists.

The problem we have here is that many in Iran would take him in a heartbeat over the mullahs ( thinking he will be better than his father).

He has been making the rounds on podcasts outlining his “ ideas”. After listening to hrs of this clown Iranians should be highly suspicious of him.
His father was a wicked wicked man, and a anti-semite to the bone. The apple falls very close to this tree.

I’ ll remind everyone when the Shah fled Iran he absconded with enormous wealth which believe it or not has sustained this quisling , his family and extended family members since the revolution for 40 some years. To this day they live off of stolen wealth.

This “ prince” of a man has not done one day’s worth of honest work in his entire life. His wife brought income as a lawyer but Reza has not held a job since forever living off of the spoils of what was stolen from the banks in Iran and was deposited in Swiss banks and offshore accounts. All he has done is wait in the wings to ascend The Peacock Throne.
The odd thing is is that he is no more royal than anyone.

His father was self proclaimed and literally self-crowned. He put that crown on himself! Their lineage is no more than you or mine as ordinary people. The Shah’s father was a army general who abdicated his rule and went to South Africa so he wouldnt be killed for all the evil things HE DID.

The level of entitlement is to the most extreme degree only to rule Iran again in the fashion as his father a dictatorship run by a “ king”- that is so very skewed.. He and his family are greedy beyond belief waiting to return to Iran and re- establish themselves and their many preserved properties seized by counter revolutionaries and re- claim the Crown Jewels.

Iran has never had a democratic form of government.
Reza Pahlavi does not advocate democracy for the Iranian people, all of his statements recently infer some sort of soft power( him) but no real change in how Iran as a society is to be run; free elections? i havent heard anything about that from him including free speech.

Iranians have always wanted a western style of democracy and I see from this “ prince” is eager to bring himself center stage mirage and very vague promises for better days ahead.

Do not believe this guy for one minute and Iranians shouldnt either. Would he be a Deep State installation? that remains to be seen.

He is positioning himself now to be a choice , not a alternative. Everything he is preaching now i

Interesting that the Israeli Operation is called Rising Lion. Is Bibi sending the Iranian opposition a message?

The Lion and Sun is one of the main emblems of Iran, and was an element in Iran's national flag until the 1979 revolution and is still commonly used by nationalists and opposition groups of the Islamic Republic government. The motif, which illustrates ancient and modern Iranian traditions, became a popular symbol in Iran in the 12th century.

Pahlavi doesn’t want to be part of the permanent government, just the transition. There will be no reestablishment of the Monarchy.

I like how many Freepers are mind readers and have great cultural insight into the minds of the average Iranian.

As an aside, operation RAISING LION was selected because the Iranian flag during the rule of the Shah had a lion on it.

I don’t have any insight in the minds of the average Iranian but I do understand some human nature. The Persians have a very long history of living under a King and so I don’t think it would be a stretch for them to accept living under a king again.

The second thing is people who lived under a regime that will kill you (and your family) if you resist will turn against the regime when there is a chance of winning.

Israel and the US are giving the Iranian people a chance to correct the choice made back in 1979.

I the only question is will they choose freedom (which they will have to fight for themselves) or return to slavery of their religious leaders?

I do not know which they will choose but in the end, it is up to them. As long as they don’t have nuclear weapons I don’t care what choice them make.

Iranians have always wanted a western style of democracy

Sure.

Every one of these countries has 5% of the population who can dress up nice, speak English, have wives who shop at Harrods and children who go to Princeton.

These fake stories are getting so tired.

In June 2018, Pahlavi commented: "I believe Iran must be a secular, parliamentary democracy."

Wiki:

Reza Pahlavi has been called the "poster boy of the democracy movement" in Iran.

In February 2025, Pahlavi was selected by various factions of the Iranian opposition as the leader of the opposition as well as the leader of the future transitional government "until the formation of the first national assembly and the commencement of a democratic government through free elections".

Calling it democracy sounds a lot better than what it really is. Just a simple word makes everything OK.

The reason he is for a secular Iran is to end Islamic banking practices, since Sharia does not allow usury. Islamic banks can’t charge interest.

The global banking cartel has to bring all central banks in line as part of the New Order.

In the New Order, there will be NO Sharia banks, and every central bank will operate within the global banking scheme.

The ongoing destruction in Iran - is really about geopolitics and MONEY.

“ After 46 years of Islamic brainwashing, there is now way he gets back into Iran to lead. Those days are over.”

Then we are stuck with the Mullahs. Feel better? The Shah before 79 had very good relations with Israel. So did Turkey. Iran’s secret police at the time(it was during Carters administration) was putting down the radical islamists. The medias narrative changed at that point to support the Ayatollahs. And we all witnessed what happened.

Pehvlavi is the best thing for Iran at this point. Unless you know someone better?

The existence or nonexistence of a monarchy in Iran is an objective fact. It’s not a partisan issue.

I simply pointed it out that it was the Iranian Jihadist Revolution of 1979 that "abolished the monarchy" and dethroned the king.

...Pretenders should be identified as such.

As far as what to call this guy, how about the Jihadi Dethroned Prince?
