You might remember Jussie Smollett. He was the guy who staged a racist and homophobic attack on himself in 2019.
After an investigation it was made plain and clear that he had fabricated the entire thing. The guy staged a fake incident and then claimed victimhood. This became the template for the democrat party today.Chicago police say they're investigating a suspected racist and homophobic attack of Jussie Smollett by two masked men which happened at about 02:00.
They say the actor was punched in the face, had an "unknown chemical substance" poured on him and a rope wrapped around his neck.
Jussie Smollett tells police the two attackers also made reference to MAGA (make America great again) - the slogan often used by then-President Donald Trump and his supporters.
He goes to a doctor and police describe his condition as "good".
Thus far, this ruse has been employed by four democrats- Ras Baraka, LaMonica McIver, Alex Padilla and Brad Lander.

Baraka, along with Democratic Representatives LaMonica McIver, Bonnie Watson Coleman, and Robert Menendez Jr. stormed the Delaney Hall detention facility and tried to force their way in. When Baraka was being arrested, McIver assaulted the Homeland Security agents.
During a chaotic 30-second scrum, McIver “Slammed her forearm” into a Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agent, used both forearms to “forcibly strike” an ICE deportation officer and reached out to restrain an agent attempting to arrest Baraka, yelling “Hell no! Hell no!” as she interjected.
Baraka was arrested but released and charges dropped. McIver was indicted on three federal counts of assaulting, impeding, or interfering with federal law enforcement officers, as announced by interim U.S. Attorney Alina Habba. She leveraged her actions into appearances on CNN and MSNBC, and posts on social media and of course, used it to fundraise -all about her being the victim.

Seeing the attention this brought to Smollett and the little-known McIver, Padilla, the Senator from California decided it was his turn to stake out a place in the spotlight. He waited until Kristi Noem was holding a press conference and he, dressed like an illegal and acting like an illegal, crashed the presser demanding to ask questions during Noem's address. He fought with the Secret Service and found himself taken to the floor and handcuffed. He was not dressed as one would expect a Senator to dress, he did not wait until Noem was finished speaking and he did try to force his way to her. There was no way to know if he meant her harm and the Secret Service acted appropriately and by the book.
Padilla also made the rounds on TV and social media. He even took to the Senate floor to cry and whine like a little b*tch. Within hours he was fundraising off the incident.

Padilla can add "insincere" to his resume. He might be the most pathetic of this trio.

When people adopt an ideology that centers on and equates virtue with victimhood, it’s inevitable that the ideology’s devotees will seek out and invent situations to make themselves look like victims.
I have long asserted that someone who is TRULY a victim of someone else or circumstances has NO DESIRE to remain a victim, but to escape and never return to that status.
The Democrats keep scratching their heads as to why they’re losing votes from demographic groups they could once count on - younger voters and even racial minorities. There really isn’t much of a mystery about it - no mentally healthy individual wants to embrace abject victimhood as their identity, nor to associate with people who make demands of society based on their (entirely alleged and imagined) victim status.
I’ll bet I’ve seen this a dozen times, and it still cracks me up.
