The anti-Israel, pro-Iran faction on the right lost Trump. Whether or not America takes part in the fighting, the administration is complicit in the battle against a rogue, terrorist state. And the isolationist “woke right” is furious about that.

Who is losing the most in the successful strikes on Iran by the Israeli Defense Forces? At the top of the list is, obviously, the Islamist regime itself. It has had its terrorist infrastructure in the form of the leadership of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as well as what is left of its military. And, of course, it has suffered significant damage to its nuclear facilities, in addition to its oil and gas industry, which is the foundation of the despotic government’s already-shaky economy.
We don’t know yet what this will mean for the future of the theocratic regime that has maintained power since it took over the country in 1979. And it’s still far from clear whether the credibility lost by the way that the Israeli Air Force has been able to operate with impunity, destroying the government’s assets and leaders, will be enough to shake off their tyrannical grip on a nation that desperately needs to replace them.
The other big loser in this struggle is a “woke right” faction of the conservative movement in the United States that opposes Israel and has been fervently opposed to any action to stop Iran from gaining nuclear weapons. More to the point, this rag-tag group of talk-show hosts, right-wing influencers and social-media gurus who can’t seem to mention Israel without betraying their antisemitic tendencies has lost President Donald Trump.
Or to be more precise, they never really had him. The Tucker Carlson factor..

Thank you very much and God bless you.
They are not on the right.
You are RIGHT
Trump was elected to get us out of wars not into wars.
They are Iranfirsters / Islamic power firsters.
Amen. We don’t need to take sides between foreign states bent on destroying each other.
Getting out of wars requires victory, not retreat.
How about foreign states bent on destroying the USA?
I support Israel. I pray for their victory over Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran.
This is not America’s war and we should stay out of it. People elected Trump to stay out of war period.
The USA isn’t fighting in either the iran Israel conflict nor against the Russian federation invasion of Ukraine

Pro-Iran my foot. You guys are being so over the top you’re ruining your own case.
It’s not quite right. They’re not Pro-Iran Rightists. They’re Pro-Russian rightists. Iran is an ally of Russia and thus they are against anything that hurts Iran. If it was the other way around, they’d be all for the death and destruction and talking about monarchy and how the US should be a dictatorship that kills its own people.
An update of the ol’ fallacy of “If you don’t want the US to go to war for country A against country B, you must be anti-country A and pro-country B”.
Oh, so it’s victory we’re after, eh? Please explain to everybody here what exactly “victory” is.
Yes. If we are at war, we need to play to win. Destroy utterly whomever the US descends upon. Make every penny, ounce of blood, and pint of sweat spent count to beat foes into submission. Who swear to never ever cross us again.
Forget nation-building, winning the hearts and minds of peoples who have nothing in common with us. All that stupid patty-cake. They’ll come around on their own when they see what they did to bring ruination upon themselves didn’t work.
And if we go in, we have a plan to get in, fight to win, AND get out. We always have a plan to go in. Our last two decades were woefully short on smashing the foe and getting out.
Until we relearn how to win wars with a lasting peace, I think we should clear up our own problems at home and stay out of everyone else’s.
You haven’t looked in a dictionary?
You appear to have zero confidence in the man at the top, then.
I support Israel too AND... this is not our war.
The “get out” strategy post-WWII resulted in the European Union, the most underhanded and double-crossing entity in human history thus far.
Even the Romans understood that an enemy must not be afforded the opportunity to arise again. Once they forgot that, they fell.
The domestic problems we face are a result of not fighting to win. Once the last major war ended, the United Nations was set up, which was patterned on the USSR thanks to Alger Hiss, and the undermining began in earnest.
