The Brits have a psycho obsession with Russia and have had it since around 1840, give or take. Monarchy, Soviet, Republic, whatever.
The Brits have a bizarre hate for Russia that comes from their spy mentality and their empire days. And they have a memory of when they still had a navy.

And they have a hubris that nobody would ever dare do anything to them.
