He apparently was told to stand down as LA was being burned and freeways were blocked by protester. Took the LAPD two hours to show up after repeated calls. No sympathy from me.
The police chief is a political appointee and as a straight White guy he has to kow tow to his masters. I suspect Bass will fire him within days and replace him with a DEI hire just like her.
