You have condemned all the history of American patriotic military parades, not just this next one, and you haven’t offered up any real reason for it except that Trump wants to intimidate us and that other nations also do military parades.
You really think that is what all the patriotic American military parades have been through our history? Give some evidence or examples of what our parades did to us that was so dark and sinister.
Happy Birthday to those of you who serve or served in the Army and what a wonderful idea to hold this parade. Sad to see it opposed by some here on FR. My friends suffering from TDS are also opposed, but of course they are. America becoming great again requires restoring confidence and parades can and do have that outcome. And, as someone has mentioned this is likely to boost recruitment and I suspect that will apply across the services. I only wish I could be there.
And what better month to celebrate genuine accomplishment and restore pride in our armed forces.
