It would be great to see a Trident missile on a trailer, and have B-2s fly by potentially seven in trail. Or have the F-47 getting towed past the crowd. Maybe have the F-117s blast by in a wedge formation.

Around 50 B-52Hs in service. Based in North Dakota and Louisiana, and some in NG use.

Yup. Honorably discharged when the rabbit died because of the rules at the time. Tons of military in my family. And none of them were into those big deal parades. Small local parades sure. But big national ego stroke parades, they all thought that was for other countries, not the good ones.

You wanna honor the Army on its birthday. Give everybody in it the day off and a 6 pack. That’s a birthday.

Trump does it just as much as Musk. Come up with whatever reason you want.

I had absolutely no idea that westetn people took military parades seriously and viewed them as a threat.
The main one , though, I reference is the military parades that Kim Jong Il
where attendance is mandatory on pain of death. Noe those people DO take it setiously

Crud I forgot NK in my list. But that’s why we SHOULD take them seriously. The imagery is the same regardless of who is doing it. And we should think about that.

It’s clear, as this thread shows, FR is full of America hating commie jerks. Left wing trolls and Dem voters.

They invade everything. Even a tiny little site like this.

Scum. Pure Scum.

I wish they’d get the ZOT. Maybe we can start a bounty to raise money.

Those Air Power Elephant Walks are the most threatening of all military power demonstrations.

(The imagery is the same regardless of who is doing it.)

You don’t think America should show strength as a superpower, at any time?

Will the FBI be able to parade its “Patriot Front” boys? Or have they all gone back into the closet to wait another day.

I dont believe people in the west take the parades personally and we have ( the collective we)view them as a strength of a nation.

Do you believe USNA, USARMY,USMC,USCG
academy parades are used to intimidate people?

You know our best show of strength? Picnics on the 4th of July. The World Series. The Superbowl. Our ability to relax and fun and be free. That’s our strength. Oh also Pumkin Chuckin, crazy rednecks banging together air cannons and shoot pumpkins almost a mile for fun. That’s a lot of strength.

I agree. How many other countries can celebrate 250 years of Army heroes? I can’t think of one.

Why are we showing the strength of the nation? We don’t to do that. A good military parade is about honoring those who serve, kinda low key, no missiles. A bad military parade is about “don’t $%^* wid us”, big, grandiose, missiles.

Yes, the problem is clearly you, you went to that link and ignored the famous American military parades entirely, you are obsessed with your bizarre and irrational rejection of fairly routine American patriotism.
