Amy Could-Not Bear-It will fold once again. Gorsuch might too.
“the questioning from the justices made it clear to me that the three liberal justices — Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor, and Ketanji Brown Jackson — are not on board with the Trump administration’s position here,”
Susie didn’t just fall off the turnip wagon.
Just think, American citizens couldn’t even get “standing” to file a lawsuit when their votes were stolen in 2020. American citizens wait decades and spend thousands of dollars to get their case before the highest court of the land. Only a few cases make it to that stage.
Illegal aliens get the rocket-docket, free legal services, and are before the Supreme Court in just a few weeks and it looks as if they are going to be granted relief with little to no effort on their part (as usual).
9Year, are you saying the five women will vote liberal? Gee, what a shock.
Four of them appointed by Democrat men.
???? There are four women on the Supreme Court. Along with 5 men.
Sorry, three of them. Four plus Jerk Roberts, at least.
Zero chance they get rid of birth right citizenship. Too many women on the Supreme Court
Illegal aliens are super citizens, they get all of the rights and privileges of citizenship and none of the downside.
They get their sentences dropped or reduced to help them stay in the US while we go to jail.
Roberts isn’t a man
Congress can end these nationwide injunctions by simple legislation. Why are not the Republicans moving on this?
You are probably correct.
But “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” is key.
If an American goes to a foreign country he or she is still subject to US jurisdiction. You still have to file income taxes for example, even if you owe nothing.
If a Russian or Ukrainian comes to the United States and gets a draft letter he, in the legal sense, must report for duty and there are consequences if he does not.
That’s because Russians, Ukrainians and Americans are “subject to the jurisdiction” of their own countries.
That phrase has a meaning and is there for a reason.
This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the Government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons. When they get to the merits, how can they honestly construe the meaning of the Jurisdiction Clause to include those illegally in the Country?
SIX of the nine were Republican appointed.
They should be looking up and tracking down who recommended Amy Coney Barrett.
This is how it works, the Prez is lobbied at a high level.
She fights for the Woke issues.
Don’t get your hopes up.
Roberts and Barrett will most certainly side with the three low IQ democrat females not on the merits of the case, but because they all hate Trump.

This quote, that can be found in the Congressional Record, seem to clearly indicate that the Jurisdiction Clause only applies to those legally in the Country.

Many thanks for the info!!!
Illegals who broke the law to come here, or stayed after their visa expired, and/or failed to appear for their first immigration hearing, been here illegally for 1 to 30+ years, had multiple kids while here illegally...why should those kids be eligible for birthright citizenship?
If a woman who is a citizen of a different country gives birth to a child in a country other than where she has citizenship, is her citizenship enough to confer the same citizenship to her child?
Iow, if a Mexican mother gives birth in the US does her Mexican citizenship make her child also a Mexican citizen?
The punctuation in that and the lack of the word “or” make it seem like all those words describe the children of foreign ambassadors.
That doesn’t bode well.
