About 2 years ago, I was reading a summary by a Air Force senior NCO...over health conditions of people in his organization.
He noted two unusual ‘waivers’...one NCO had oxygen ‘need’. The guy had a tank and was getting an hour a day of ‘fresh-air’. This came after a bout of Covid, and he was convinced of the need. This was described as a problem...if you needed to deploy the guy, or even send him off for 2 weeks of training. Leadership questioned how long this waiver would last and the medical folks could never provide a straight answer.
The second topic was a airman who was waivered with Schizophrenia. The medical response was that he was OK...and under treatment. No one trusted the guy.
I just don’t remember all this stuff in the 1980s/1990s when I was in.
“‘frotteurism’ which (we had to look it up) includes rubbing one’s body against non-consenting persons.”
My cat was diagnosed with that. Took a lot of intense surgery, but a few (strong) meds and putting him alone with a dog he never met pretty much solved the problem.
our military should be engaged in the planting of daisies on enemy graves and breaking any shit that the enemy owns. oh, and maybe being a deterrent to any potential future enemy that doesn’t like daisies on their graves or want their shit effed up.
Hence all the attacks these days - he scares the Deep State
Too bad we have so many here helping the Deep State....
