In a Tesla, the power goes from the battery, directly to the electric motor which turns the wheels. There is no transmission.

i guess the thing i don’t understand is why these fools keep doing this given all of the national publication of numerous FEDERAL charges and arrests of many others who are now faceing Federal arson and Federal terrorist charges leading to 20 year sentences in a Federal slammer if convicted in FEDERAL COURT ... and even if acquitted, there lives are basically destroyed emotionally, financially and reputationally ...
these aren’t local charges where local corrupt and/or sympathetic judges can be easily bought off and/or which are prosecuted by local-yokel prosecutors, but instead are prosecuted by Federal prosecutors ...
these are big-time crimes prosecuted in big-time courts by big-time prosecutors ...
do they not pay attention to the news at all?
