(The Epoch Times)—The Department of Justice filed a motion on March 21 requesting District of Columbia District Judge Beryl Howell disqualify herself from Perkins Coie LLP’s case challenging President Donald Trump’s executive order against it due to her publicly declared disdain for the president and her connection with essential aspects of the case.
This Court has not kept its disdain for President Trump secret,” Chad Mizelle, acting associate attorney general, wrote in his motion. “It has voiced its thoughts loudly—both inside and outside the courtroom.”
Inside the courtroom, Mizelle noted that during now-former special counsel Jack Smith’s prosecution of Trump, she found “reason to believe that the former President would ‘flee from prosecution,’” and “pierced attorney-client privilege, ordering President Trump’s attorney to testify before a D.C. grand jury” investigating the alleged retention of classified documents in a case in South Florida.
Mizelle also said Howell directly rejected Trump’s stance that the indictments against individuals for conduct at or near the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, was a “national injustice” and called his supporters “sore losers.”

Beryl is a MISERBLY HIDEOUS DEMOCRAT! REDUNDANT!
Can a sitting judge be prosecuted for RICO?
I’m asking for a friend, a friend named Pam B.
Why would anybody at Perkins Coie have a RIGHT to a security clearance?
The arrogant absurdity of these anuses infuriates me.
Smear them with the truth.
The “rule of law” is MYTH.
Always has been.
The judicial branch has ALWAYS been disposed to EVIL.
The Dred Scott, Oliver Plessy, and Carrie Buck decisions, as well as the Roe v Wade decision are all INDEFENSIBLE on the basis of “the rule of law”.
The more these biased judges reveal themselves, then the easier it is for Trump to make the case to the citizenry at large that he and the office he holds are being targeted with a coup by the judicial branch.
Yes.
Something else occurred to me too. Boazberg’s sister works with Perkins Coie, iirc. And he gave an award to the Constitution-breaking Beryl gal FOR her unconstitutional rulings. Now this good pal of Boasberg is ruling in a case impacting his sister financially.
Incestuous pit of snake slime.
Yes, a judge can be prosecuted for RICO. Need to prove she conspired with others; probably not too hard to prove.
Search for Operation Greylord; about corruption in the Chicago courts.
President Trump and his team had spent years getting prepared for him winning the election.
He has moved very fast on some things, but he has been very deliberate dealing with other issues. Almost as if he is working a plan and a schedule.
I would not be surprised to hear at some future point in time that President Trump and his team had already identified the major players that would be trying to block his agenda and has been gathering evidence against them for years.
If true I can see some judges (and some Democrats and Republicans) retiring early.
Isn’t she one of the members of a very secret club that includes a few other POTUS Trump haters?
I believe targeting these traitorous judges and both the DNC/RINOs should be Kash Patel’s #1 job after identifying and deporting members of TDA/ISIS.
According to Patel, 274K Americans were ILLEGALLY unmasked. That’s probably why Bongino took the job as Assistant Director, as he indicated being unmasked as well.
I initially thought Trump made a mistake by following Boasburg’s court order, but realize Trump might be trying to expose the RINOs as well as how out-of-touch the Democrat party is by calling for an impeachment.
BTW, thanks for going to SE Asia, as you guys made my service easier. I was in the 82nd from 83-86. If you’re ever in the DC area, let me buy you a cold beverage.
For that matter, ANY foreign born judge should be ineligible to hear immigration cases as they are not unbiased.
The judge should have no vested interest in the type of case they hear.
“Justice” should be thanking its lucky stars.
That woman is guilty. She got whacked with the Ugly Stick Gavel one time too many.
Anti-Trump loon…
I was in the 82nd from 83-86.

I was with the 101st when I got my orders to Vietnam, and after my tour I went to the 82nd. My years of service were 1964-1967.
At my age I do not travel anymore but thank you for the thought.
I'm not in the DC area, and will likely not be any time soon. However, if you pack a diet coke in dry ice, it should arrive here cold. 😁
Vietnam vets will always have a special place in my heart for their courage and sacrifice.
In one of my earliest company formations in 1983, my 1SG pointed to the patch on his right sleeve and stated, “Do you see this patch on my right shoulder? It means I’m a Vietnam veteran. Do not ask any of us Vietnam vets any questions about the war”.
It wasn’t until the late 80s that the documentaries about Vietnam came out. I told my boss (a Vietnam vet) about the upcoming 5-part documentary, and he remarked, “I wish you wouldn’t have told me about the documentary, as I had nightmares”.
I’m truly sorry you came back to an ungrateful nation, and I’m giving you a hug in spirit.

The 173rd was sent from Okinawa as a unit and the unit stayed until the war was over. I was a replacement from the 101st and the men who went over with me were all assigned to different units and I never saw them again. I was assigned to a platoon that just lost half their guys, I did not know any of them and they did not know me. At the end of my year of service I was pulled out of the field given a little time to pack my stuff and put on a clean uniform and flown back to Travis AFB. Little over 30 hours from combat to the real world. Arrived late night or early morning were and was able to get a space available seat on a c130 going east near my home. I then had to find my own way home.
For the most part Vietnam veteran enter the war and plugged in where ever the Army needed them and then sent them home as individual. There were no unit parades, no honors, no family to greet us. We had to sneak back into the world like unwanted step children.
Arriving home our families were glad we were home but could not understand what we had seen, or did, or why we wanted to be left alone and not talk about it. We changed, we were strangers to our friends and families.
In time most of us adjusted and went on with our lives but soon could never adjust and turned to drugs and alcohol and their lives ended way too soon.
The reason we don’t talk about it is because death is so random in combat. The man next to you is wounded, another is killed and for the survivors there is always the question “why did I live, and he died?”
Lol Laz. You prefer the flavor of Diet Coke over Coke Zero?
