As Twitchy reported, Elon Musk emailed all federal workers asking them to list in five bullet points what they had worked on the previous week. It's brilliant actually, as it shows who actually reads their emails or if that person exists at all. Federal workers didn't have the five minutes it would take to write the email but they found time to appear on cable news to describe how terrifying the request was.
That was a week ago, but federal workers are still suffering from PTSD. They held a protest outside the Capitol on Monday to express just how frightening it is to get an email from your boss. Nice COVID mask outside by the way.

It’s ironic their sign says “#stopthecon” and that’s exactly what DOGE is trying to do. Too funny.
These new civil servants sure are a bunch of weak kneed eggheads. Everything scares the hell out of them.
Just list the five protests you went to with your fellow workers! Geez. It’s not rocket science.

I really do think cutting off the USAID grift killed the funding source for a lot of that.
So now we can expect that all civil servants are suffering from PTSD? Shouldn’t they be in a hospital or something? Is it going to be safe for normal Americans to deal with them or what?
Yep, I can always list 5 things I am currently or have worked on and could spout it off within the first 30 seconds. In professional private employment this is standard fare.
Always being asked what I am working on, often because they want to know if I can pick up even more work. It is about checking bandwidth and seeing he is least overworked before they add more.
I’m retired and could give 5 accomplishments for the last week.
Evidently “Bullet Points” are “Trigger” words.
A lot of veterans get more done in a day before 10 AM than civilian workers get done in a full day.
About a year ago a close relative, working for Amazon Web Services, was fired by email. No phone call, no nothing. Handled all separation over the internet.
A week later he had a better job, with better benefits and less pressure.
Before I retired, I had a job as a sales rep. Every week I had to file a call report.
1. Who did I go see.
2. What did we talk about
3. Possible or real results.
If I didn’t turn in a call report, my expense report would be rejected.
I had to be accountable to get reimbursed for my expenses.
It was not a govt job.
When I was in the consulting business, every 15 minute time block was allocated to a client project number or a non-chargeable code. You didn’t want too much non-chargeable time. Every week we’d hold a quick project status meeting covering all active projects and a sales prospects meeting. This is basic real world stuff for anyone with any accountability at all.
