One of the best Rock bands today. Three sisters from Mexico.
Great, young Rock band. Rock is NOT dead!
Nice Bass!
Off topic, but seems odd to have MTV music awards, when MTV doesn’t show music videos anymore. That channel was created for particular programming, and abandoned that programming, but still have music awards, as if they still are a music video channel. Just seems odd to me.
While I agree with everything you say there, they still had a live awards show and these girls killed it.
She was 18 when this was recorded in 2023.
Daniela “Dany” Villarreal Vélez, 25 (born January 30, 2000) – guitars, lead and backing vocals, piano (2013–present)
Paulina “Pau” Villarreal Vélez, 23 (born February 5, 2002) – drums, backing and lead vocals, piano (2013–present)
Alejandra “Ale” Villarreal Vélez, 20 (born December 13, 2004) – bass, piano, backing and occasional lead vocals (2013–present)
The Warning is a Mexican rock band from Monterrey, formed in 2013 by the Villarreal Vélez sisters: Daniela (guitar, vocals, piano), Paulina (drums, vocals, piano), and Alejandra (bass guitar, backing vocals, piano).
They have released four studio albums, two EPs, and 18 music videos. Their most recent studio album, Keep Me Fed, was released on June 28, 2024.
They are defiantly playing live here, no lipsync BS. AND they use Orange amps! What’s not to like!
Amen! Rock on!
I always thought the line
“I’m not in danger, I am the danger” was a nod to the movie femme fatales.
Found out about them a couple weeks ago through instagram. They’re in that great category of proving that rock music is still very much alive.
The drummer reminds me of Animal from the Muppets...BEAT DRUM! BEAT DRUM!
They are loud, anyway.

The drummer Pau got the drummer of the year award in 2023.
Thanks!
They weren’t on my radar.
Check them out 10 years ago
Enter Sandman. The bass player was 9 years old. Now she is the tallest in the group.

Saw them live a couple of months ago. They absolutely ROCK!!!
I’ve been listening to them for a couple of years now, they’ve been performing for over 10, and they’re just in their 20s. I was the only person in my section that knew any of the words (LOL).
They were the first act, followed by Halestorm, with Evanescence as the closing act.
I am jealous. Just discovered them recently. They played in Nashville last year about 200 miles from me but I could have made it if I knew about them.
I don’t see anything in the US except for a couple of festivals this year. Nothing near me.
Band-Maid from Japan is also up there. The Warning did a joint concert with them a couple of years ago.
This is Band-Maid from 2020 or thereabouts.
